I have the Exposed racks and put my heavy Hobie Kayak on top with no issues. You will need a y-rack attachment. Otherwise it’s too close to the top of the windshield.
When there were no aftermarket hardtop options, I think this would be correct. But now that this is available for $4,500, why would anyone pay that for a used inferior top?

Ahh good point. I do go under the rail on one side. So i guess it wouldn’t work. That’s per their directions. I would not trust it solely mounted to the y-arm clipped in.
No, they stay on all the time. The softtop folds over it.
it should work with the mesh Bimini top. Just need to see the mounting points on the particular one you are interested in.
