it should have been embedded in the pillar vertically, like many other Ford products. The stick on thing sucks and look tacky. If you do it after order, it’s not painted so it looks terrible on the door. Now that these are DIO, are they all now black and unpainted.
Get the Wildtrack. If it’s a CPO it’s a better deal. If it’s not CPO, see if they can CPO process it for their asking price.
Badlands and Wildtrack with Lux were sold in lower volumes due to constraints. It’s what will lose you less money overall during ownership IMO.
If it’s a standard MIC top, I’ll pass. Ford forced tens of thousands of order holders to change from the MOD top MY21 through MY23. A golden ticket for a MOD top for those with a reservation would go a long way to building some good will. Probably the only way I get a hard top is to just go get...
My Old Amigo had to roll the back, it sucked and got scratched. The Bronco window setup is great. You need to get the cheap padded storage bag with clips. Mine lives in the Bronco. Best $40-60 upgrade and is the most loved aftermarket item I've bought.
Find the cheapest hard top equipped Bronco in a Private party sale, swap tops, and then resell the cheap one with a soft top for a minimal loss. You could also see about Co-Part. I was hoping that someone would make some version close to the MOD top since they are more scarce than a Leprechaun...
I did my own cloth to leather Katzkin in a Highlander when my kids were little. They trashed the cloth and I could never get it clean and not smelling like spoiled milk. It’s absolutely doable if you have some
Mechanical ability. I’m not sure how the Bronco seats are assembled but know they are...
For 90% of people Absolutely not. If you have met your retirement savings milestone for Your given age bracket, own your home outright, have a credit score over 800, and have a three month emergency fund in a high yield, then have at it, you are doing well and can treat yourself.
Leasing is a...
Judging by your image, you have high or Lux. The Auto High beams can be aggressive and hang-on a little long. Unfortunately, if enabled, they go into auto at each re-start. DIsbale through the center screen and see if that changes anything for you.
I just wrapped up all five of my 4” install. I ran a few songs and used a frequency app to determine what would go best where. The dash corners render a bit more highs than the center and the rear pods. I went with two sets of the Hertz Deci and one set of (cheaper) Infinity Reference to play...
110 miles mixed driving. 50% was highway up to 75MPH. Its does beat you up a little bit. Throw the windows up if it gets to be too much. I have a mesh shade, not sure how much that affects noise. If it’s over 75 degrees I need the shade.
I just did the latest Apple Update and now my CarPlay is finicky. I suspect this is an Apple Problem, not a Ford Problem. It still beats the pants off any pre Apple CarPlay Toyota product. I’m thinking it takes a few days for the vehicle to update around the latest Apple iOS.
Whatever you do, do not wipe the vinyl windows, except when doing a proper vehicle wash. The only way to prevent the micro scratches in vinyl windows is to do a proper clean water, then foam and let dwell for 5-10 minutes, rinse, then use a clean bucket of soapy water and a clean wish mit to...
I agree. It's funny how many people gravitate to Toyotas. I've had a few Highlanders and two of them had so many problems with sunroofs and leaking water. My wife's current Lexus has a weird rattle in the sunroof. If you must get a Toyota, Skip the sunroof. These were bad designs, and dealers...
I have a '22 Badlands Moar Door, Lux, No Sasquatch. When it finally arrived, I kept my Silverado for an additional 18 months until I was sure I could take the Bronco as my daily ride. I finally sold the Silverado just two weeks ago, and the Bronco is now full-time. It's not perfect for...
