Everyone is complaining about every little thing possible and comparing these things to the Wrangler. And if you are saying that the lack of first year colors is going to stop Ford from devastating the Wrangler, you are terribly wrong lol.
I agree there should have been more solidified colors for the First Edition but they didn't want to throw all color options into the mix the first year. I work for Ford and believe me, I wish more colors were available on all of our models lol
Honestly, all I could think is if they have multiple people that may have ordered a couple days after that they are trying to get ahead of you and will hold you out until the March cutoff and then make yours become a 2022. Obviously would be cheating the system but there is absolutely ZERO...
Shouldn't be happening at all with how early your reservation is. We have been bringing in our first 40 reservations to already build and place their order. Why they would be waiting until March is weird in itself especially considering you are getting a First Edition.
It is a dealer specific deposit. It is not a requirement to make the customer put money down so that was a lie from them. Most dealers like myself, only expect a deposit to cover our ass in case the customer backs out and we get penalized and it hurts our allocation.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe that you can make any customizations to your order until a VIN is assigned to your vehicle. I am not sure if you can completely change the trim of the vehicle.
The BB and BD only have an option for the mid package. 12" screen is available once you get to the High package. You are paying for the heated seats, extra power plug ins, remote start, reverse sensing, dual climate control, etc. But I also see where if you are playing around with options, it...
With internet age, you are wrong. Someone can go on their phone and locate 100 of the same type of vehicle within a couple of minutes and determine the best price. Why do you think rebates are based off of your location and not what dealer is selling them? It is so people aren't travelling all...
Not all dealers are going to be charging an ADM. But it is the same when many other manufactures released "specialty vehicles". There is not always some special discount. Everyone is so spoiled to get every last dollar out of these dealers. And 90% of the people with reservations would be lying...
Thin the numbers intentionally? People were abusing X-plan in itself, why does everyone think that Ford owes them anything at all? Buying the vehicle for the Manufacture Suggested Retail Price aka MSRP is where we would be if we did not have dealers.
Because being able to decipher the difference between "true loyal members" and people that were just joining to screw the system is not really Fords job. Allowing things like this to happen in the first place, and having threads promoting it are why it got shut down. How can you be mad that...
