  1. K&N Intake - Service Engine Warning Light

Ya, mine turned out to be a bad hose clamp. I thought it was tight but the screw was skipping and it never got as tight as it needed to be. Once I replaced it with a much better one, the code never came back. Another guy on here mentioned that he cracked a fitting unbeknownst to him and only...
  2. Transistor IRFP 9140 Mosfet for interior lights

I can't tell if you're trolling or are confused... Inside the red box is the transistor. There are no additional diodes... Inside the green box is the rear dome light circuit board. I did make a mistake in my previous post, but it doesn't affect how you connect it. I dont think the diodes on...
  3. Transistor IRFP 9140 Mosfet for interior lights

There's nothing wrong with installing per instructions that came with the lights; however, this mod allows you to use your interior light switch to turn the lights on and off rather than needing to open the door or install a secondary switch. I'm very pleased with the install using this mod as...
  4. Transistor IRFP 9140 Mosfet for interior lights

The diods are the LEDs on his simplified diagram. Where the purple line goes to on the board is where he soldered onto in order to pick up the change in state.
  5. Transistor IRFP 9140 Mosfet for interior lights

Shout out to Ltjb8 for getting me here and thank you drvahe for this post; it's exactly what I was looking for. I bought the same kit and was very disappointed to find it disconnected from the interior factory light functions. Thanks and Kudos for figuring this out for everyone. Now to order...
  6. INCOMING: Driveshaft Recall (Customer Satisfaction Program 22B27) - replacement needed to avoid cracked boot

So far so good. The Ford Recall check shows I haven't been flagged... yet... I'll check again in a few days. Crossing my fingers I am one of the lucky few. Thanks for the heads up!!
  7. Turbo inlet duct appears collapsed

It is designed to rotate the air so it enters the turbo in a more laminar flow. This reduces friction and improves efficiencies of the turbo. Interestingly, the K&N intake kit I installed had a smooth tube for that section. So I guess the efficiencies aren't all that great anyhow? 🤔
  8. BroncoRob_Reignited

    Georgia Bronco

@Hobgoblin okay- this needs to be sent far and wide. Thanks for sharing!! Cheers!
  9. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

From one fire guy to another, congrats on the career transition and welcome home bro. If you get restless in retirement, reach out. I'm also in the south - not nearly as much off road fun opportunity is in the mid-west, but the man, the beaches are so warm and ocean like a relaxing warm therapy...
  10. Check Engine Light (misfire & injector)

I got the bronco back; after testing, the dealer said it had nothing to do with the K&N. They reinstalled the K&N and ordered the replacement injector. All is well and right in the world and it was covered under warranty. I have a few theories - it could be that the injector is within the...
  11. Swarfworks Mount, KC Slim LED's turned out nice!

Would you mind posting a pic of what it looks like with the camera view so we can see how much real estate the lights take up? That would be super cool of you bro. Thanks, -Rob
  12. Check Engine Light (misfire & injector)

Ya, great question. I'm fairly certain I put in 87. I'm in GA and the minimum is 87 in the state, so it should be at least that. To be honest, I had ran premium for about 400 miles to see what the mpg would be, reset the trip 1 at 200 with the K&N and see what the change was. Then I switched to...
  13. Check Engine Light (misfire & injector)

Has anyone had any faults pop up for a misfire and ignition on the ford pass app (check engine light flashing on dash)? It randomly started idling very rough (about 500rpm) and was not smooth at all. I took it straight to the dealer. I've only had the Bronco about a week and it has about 550...
  14. I made a thing!

Cheers to ingenuity, Bronco, and all things off road! Looks great!
  15. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

Isn't it simply joyful! Im like a child but I don't care. It reminds me of that commercial where the husband suddenly volunteers to do every errand for his wife, from picking up the kids to getting groceries. He even "forgets" to buy the milk and waits for the wife to notice. As soon as she...
  16. Mabett's list of products on sale and some discount codes! ! !

Been with you Been with you since you started here buddy- you've expanded rapidly and quite impressively. I know the community appreciates the discounts, so thank you for your willingness to hand them out here. I just ordered your fog lights - I don't know if you partnered with someone for...
  17. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

SOO much fun!! I just learned that there's a JB4 available for our beasts as well. I've had JB4s on my last two bimmers. Definitely gonna look into getting one of those!
  18. Propane tank set up - installed on tailgate reinforcement support

Nice - back before engineering economics was a thing and corporations didn't intentionally design in failure to increase profits. I truly hope that bad boy outlives us all. It likely will.
  19. 🛠 1/17/2022 Build week group

I'm apparently WAAAAY too heavy on the throttle. Well, that and I used Forscan to unlock Sport Mode on my Badlands, but nevertheless... I haven't gotten above 11.5 gpm.
  20. Propane tank set up - installed on tailgate reinforcement support

Psha- "unprotected"- it's mounted to the back of a Bronco! How much more "protected" could it be?! Okay, I don't wanna kill the energy of this post because I love the idea... Here's a link to propane cylinder requirements on campers. They just have to be placed and secured so that they don't...
