  1. Texas Members Roll Call

I'm happy to hear you're okay, too. I thought about going that route, but I was definitely worried about losing value on a clunker between now and whenever the Bronco arrives. I'm glad that you're still in the game.
  2. Texas Members Roll Call

Thanks, y'all. It looks like a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is the route I'm going. The Family Pricing on a 2020 lured me in. I'll keep hanging around. I'm still excited about the Bronco, and I can't wait to see y'all take delivery.
  3. Texas Members Roll Call

Hey y'all, just coming by to say I'm out. I'm really disappointed, but I was in car accident two weeks ago, and while nobody was hurt, they totaled my car. That car was my ride until the Bronco came out. After looking at different angles and options, I decided to go ahead and get a car now. So...

  5. CACTUS GRAY THREAD!!!! if you’re choosing cactus gray lemme know. I think it’s the best color available at the moment.

Yep, I’m in for a four-door Big Bend in CG with the MIC top (with sound-proofing liner) and roof racks. I’m very happy with this build.
  6. Advanced 4x4 automatic on demand engagement price?

Thanks, Laminar. I was just coming back to post that.
  7. Advanced 4x4 automatic on demand engagement price?

"On build and price it is about $800." It depends on the model you start with. I added it to my 4-door Big Bend build, and it was $5,400+ change after you add in the rest of the changes that go with it.
  8. Ford’s Goal in showing all the stuff “we can’t have”...

I think Ford underestimated interest in the Bronco, and I think maybe they are holding a few things back from the initial release to have more expensive options later. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these prices go up a couple grand, but then you can add a white roof or a quilted...
  9. 2021 Bronco BUILD & PRICE Configurator Is Finally Live (For Real)!! Share your build inside.

Four-door Big Bend for $41,700. I was hoping to keep it below $40k when I switched to a four-door, and I almost made it.
  10. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

When I was 16, I could shift gears, eat a cheeseburger, hold a Coke (no cup holders), and get a cassette tape out of the glove box and into the stereo all at the same time. Don’t expect a stick shift to keep him from texting.
  11. Why is the Toyota 4runner "behind?"

My wife and I were both interested in 4Runner, and we both really liked the one they brought to a car show we went to. It was army green with a roof rack and looked awesome. Then we sat in it. And that was it. Neither one of us could convince ourselves we liked it. Nothing about the interior...
  12. Houston Dealer Recommendations

Y’all convinced me. I’m in on the group buy, too. Made the call today.
  13. Houston Dealer Recommendations

Were you at Tommie Vaughn before switching over? I've gone back and forth on that Texas Group offer. I have the info, I just haven't made the call.
  14. Houston Dealer Recommendations

I reserved at Tommie Vaughn Ford as well. Someone connected me with a sales rep, Christy, who has been pretty good so far.
  15. 2.3 4 cylinder with 10 speed auto

Apples to oranges comparison, but just for fun with a quick Google search: 4x4 Ranger with the 2.3 -- 20/24 mpg 4x4 F150 with the 2.7 -- 19/24 mpg
  16. Anyone else just want a basic bronco

I reserved a two-door base, but after watching a video that showed the lack of room behind the seats and the difficulty of getting into the back seats, I think I've talked myself into a four-door. Once you do that, it makes sense to go up to Big Bend. The two things I would want to do to the...
