We shouldn't have to rely on the aftermarket to fix a problem that Ford should be addressing directly. It stinks to buy a product with a known defective part that they simply aren't addressing. Bah humbug
they replaced my transmission and the sound/scrape is back after hundred or so miles. it is softer but present again on cold mornings/cold starts.
color me sad and annoyed.
really wish ford would actually address this but not sure what would push them to if this hasn't already.
dealer had bronco for 7 weeks. they put in a new transmission and transfer case. scratching noise back almost immediately but much softer than before. figure it's just amatter oftime until it gets louder again. calling monday to ask what hey want to do now...
got text they received all the parts needed and are replacing the transmission and transfer case. will let you know if it fixes anything. they've had the bronco for nearly 2 months.
Mine has been at dealer for 3 weeks. they are "not sure" what is making the noise. Will forward them the TSB. Thank you for posting. Hopefully will make some sense to them
@Rubisquatch - thank you! I am an idiot.... i am also super happy to be wrong and saddened that i will now be spending more money for the missus to have power seats. here to for I had told her they were not an option.
I'm happy to be wrong! Please show me where on the ford b&p does it say power seats for four door leather on the badlands? I'm litereally looking at it and it says nothing about carpet or power seats?
no power seats with any badlands period - in multiple threads and b&p. Ford had said because of "washout" interior can't have the power seats, would mess up wiring in the long term. Still not sure why leather option is so expensive for a manual seat configuration....
i apologize if this has been answered... 100 times, but are the rear window panels solid grey or will they actually be windows on the MIC? i get they aren't removable (i think). i keep seeing so many versions and the b&p is not clear....
In the B&P, 4 door when you hit the "details" for the seats for the BL - both the MGV and leather trimmed are manual seats and no mention of power. No mention of carpet either....
badlands doesn't have the power seats on the leather. just heated. click on "details" and just says 6 way manual for both vinyl and vinyl with leather trim.....
