    Ford hasn't hit OKTB yet and I see pages of people threatening to cancel their reservations. I'd stick with it a bit longer, the plant just started production this month and we know that it will take some time to ramp up. I'm not going to pass on my Bronco to spite Ford.

    It is just like Ford builds every other vehicle line, with time stamp used instead of priority code. Dealers have been doing this forever.

    This is incorrect as I am reading it. A VIN will be assigned when the vehicle is scheduled to be built. Not before then. Eventually everyone will get a VIN, but the majority wont' be in April or May.

  16. This is how many Priority Order slots were allotted to dealers

    There are "01" priority codes - they are for retails. "02" is the highest a stock unit can go. These are the codes for the mannequin vehicles.

    No retail orders have VINs yet. Next week they will start. OP likely got the VIN from the mannequin order from the dealership.
