Also must be certified by MI6.
  2. Interesting Orange Bronco sighting at the body shop today.

My first vehicle was a '72 F100 in calypso coral. Loved the color.
  3. Interesting Orange Bronco sighting at the body shop today.

This is really cool. I know it's not for everyone but in this country you still can be an individual. I found a registration from '82 for my '72 Bronco. Had my plates on my '21 BD changed to the same number. Some people don't understand but I thought it would be cool and my opinion is the only...
  4. What is the appeal of off-roading?

Fire look outs are great. Some of them are a 2 mile drive that can take over an hour to get there. I haven't been to many here in Idaho but it amazes me how they got them built where they did. Because of their placement and what they were meant for, the views are unsurpassed. At one time Idaho...
  5. Introducing El Bandito: 1,000 Horsepower Ford Bronco Baja Runner [Video Added]

Where do you put the child's seat. I don't think the malls around here will allow one of these.
  6. Interest in fixed top with a moon roof option?

    And you don't feel entitled?
  7. Interest in fixed top with a moon roof option?

If a one piece roof WITHOUT MOONROOF OR SLIDER was an option I would have went for it. Probably will never remove top because I don't like that much dust inside when off road. And no, I am not a neat freak. Took top off of my gen 1 once in 18 years and regretted it most times. It's great that...
  8. 2.7L and 3.0L engine NHTSA probe expanded -- defective fractured intake valves issue [WARNING: NO TROLLING]

I don't remember the dates but it is in a previous thread, it is not by vin but by the julian date on the engine oil filler tube.
  9. 2.7L and 3.0L engine NHTSA probe expanded -- defective fractured intake valves issue [WARNING: NO TROLLING]

Yes, there are a lot of high mileage rigs in the danger zone for bad valves but obviously not all of the valves used during that period are bad. Don't know if they use more than one supplier or if it was one batch of valves. From what I have seen on this forum and in the report above, all of the...
  10. 2.7L and 3.0L engine NHTSA probe expanded -- defective fractured intake valves issue [WARNING: NO TROLLING]

I may be wrong but it seems that the highest mileage reported on this forum for a valve related engine failure was 7500. Mine failed at 3900 July 1, 2021.
  11. Broncos are cool, now go explore!

    Nah, 24's with wheel lights.
  12. AC giving out after an hour RESOLVED

My experience with getting a case number was the same. When my engine blew (bad valve keeper) the service writer was very uncommunative. Couldn't get any info. Contacted Ford and got a case number. Any time I couldn't get info from dealer I contacted Ford and had a call back or email from dealer...
  13. Boise Bronco Club 2nd Annual September Stampede edit from Weekends & Waypoints!

Nice footage of some easy wheelin' in the Owyhees. By the way Corbin, there is no z in Boise.
  14. 205,000 miles on 2.7 first generation

Yours probably got good valve keepers. Most in that range that were affected died at low mileage (mine at 3900 miles).
