I don't know a ton about turbo engines, but is it possible that Ford accounts for some oil from the PCV system lubricating the intake side of the turbos? In which case you would want the oil catch after the turbo, if that's possible, right?
Wait, how do you train sync? I drive three different vehicles with sync (2010 Fusion, 2013 F150, and 2020 Transit) and I'm pretty sure Ms. Sync had a stroke before any of them left the factory.
The Fusion Hybrid (at least in 2014) just came with the BS inflator kit. I had a side wall blow out in the rain a couple years ago. Crappy weather for changing a tire but it would've been better than the tow bill.
So when I first saw @Justin96's post, I had the same thought as @Jook13 except more to the tune of, "this guy drives an Accord and 270HP/310FT-LB isn't enough for him?!?" Which prompted me to google the 2008 Honda Accord v6 to find out that it made ~270HP/250FT-LB... and suddenly 270HP for the...
When I was cruising the wiki to find that first photo, I learned that some Things had portal axles. Might even convince some of the hardcore guys on here to rebadge it!
I thought about getting those for a while back when I had my Mustang, but I noticed a broken spring while doing brakes one weekend when I was home from college. So instead I got lowering springs off the shelf at the local speed shop to get back to school on lol.
The 4th gen Mustang (maybe other gens too? I've only messed with a 95) used front struts with a separate spring. They have a single A-arm attached to the K member, with an inboard mounted spring, the wheel hub attached to the ball joint, and strut mounted to the wheel hub and strut tower perch...
Oh man, my brother had those in his POS Tempo back in high school. His seat belts didn't break before the rest of the car did, but they were bad enough when they functioned "properly" lol.
From the "boo-buh-lah"s I'm assuming this is directly after turning the key on. What I'm more interested in is the "4A" setting on the dial on the left.
Which Ford Store are you at? I'm on the Northern/Central Illinois line, firmly in Central if you're going off IDNR's waterfowl zones though hah.
I'm just an engineer and outdoorsman that's bled Ford blue since I bought my Mustang in High School.
What about slapping an F-150 trans & transfer case onto a 2.3 EB from a Mustang? I don't know if Ford did anything weird with bellhousings and what not between the F-150 and the Mustang. Or just drop everything from the F-150 into the B2...
Not sure how it is with automotive aftermarket/accessories, but some manufacturers don't want to deal with drop shipping. My local dive shop is a big online retailer for dive gear, so I figured they mostly did drop shipping because their store isn't that big. When I was in there a couple months...
Honestly, the common as dirt part probably has more to do with it than size. If size were the main concern (and they had built in the last 20 years...) people would be swapping Windsor motors into everything. The 302 from my old Mustang was about the same size as the 4.3L out of my boat when I...
