Been about a month now and am considerably less enthusiastic. Its not that the truck isn't absolutely perfect for what it should have been, it really is. But I just am not sure that buying a 40k car in this type of uncertain economic times is the most rational thing to do. Kinda over it for now...
These numbers are not going to represent the real population. There is no way millennials are going to be buying the manual in even percentages with the auto. This is a different type of demographic.
Why do we even need dealers, on a slight tangent? Why not do an internet launch like they did, put the full order bank up, then you just order and someone delivers it to your house? That seems perfect in a post COVID world. Should reduce all the hassle and delays.
If they can put a 392 into a 37K Scat Pack Challenger that I can pick up today, they can put it in here economically if they choose to do that. Its not an expensive motor, never was.
These are really boring colors. All dark and/ or depressing. Take that grey flat one and add some actual COLOR to that style like a flat bright orange or yellow or grabber blue.
Oh well that makes me feel a little better. But then why would it be checked with the 4 door base? Doesn't that require auto too to get the v6? And yet its checked.
That doesn't guarantee anything. The v6 is available with the base (they will say), it's just the 4 door. What a disgraceful performance by Ford if true. Peak artificial options limiting. Yeah, if true this is it.
There's another post here that seems to say you can't add the V6 to the base 2 door. Which has basically killed a lot of our base dreams. Can anyone confirm this? What a shameful performance by Ford in artificial options games.
Am I missing something or not interpreting correctly? The base 2 door isn't available with the V6? What the frickin hell? If I wasn't out before i'm out now.
None of these are production trims you can buy. The saddle one is a custom one off and none of the trims come with 37s or those wheels (those are not the Sasquatch beadlock capable wheels). Surprised but not surprised they are still trotting out these fantasy Broncos.
What makes you think that? There are 392s sold every single day on Challengers and Chargers. Do people not know this? Seriously go on AT and type in Scat Pack review. There are many. And they are pretty cheap. My dealer has one for 37K now.
https://www.thedrive.com/news/34797/the-v8-jeep-wrangler-rubicon-392-is-coming-to-production-report Then of course we had the infamous tweets from the FCA exec showing pictures of a 392 in the Jeep and then basically said it's coming without saying its coming directly. Either way, now its...
If that thing is reliable, good for it. There are a lot more moving parts and it's a very heavy vehicle (Bronco looking at over 5000 lbs with the 35s) for a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder. I can tell you one thing, the 5.0 is just solid at this point. This is my 6th year with my 2015 Mustang (I preordered...
If Chrysler can put a 392 motor into a Wrangler, yes Ford can put a V8 into the Bronco. In fact, not only can they, but I think they are going to be forced to from the changing competitive landscape. If you think Chrysler is just going to sit there with the Wrangler line where it was, you've got...
It is a Franken. Basically none of the models they trotted out on launch day are actual specific trims. They have wrong interiors, wrong grills, wrong wheels etc etc. I shouldnt say wrong, mismatched. But you get the point.
I'm waiting for a larger motor and to see what FCA does in the new competitive marketplace. They ain't hurtin for sales on the Wrangler with 200K+ per year sold, but this is going to make them better. The 392 Wranger has my full attention. Lets see what price point they put that out in. They got...
And maybe that means off roaders or SUV buyers just like boring dark colors. From the poll, it does seem that way. But this Bronco in particular looking the way that it does (like a Tonka truck) is like tailor made for the FCA pastel type colors. I reasonably suspect the only reason Cyber Orange...
