  1. What are you cross-shopping the Bronco against?

I went with a 2019 ZR2. Lifted, aftermarket sunroof, AEV wheels, rack, cover, and a mother****ing super charger, leather, heated seats and steering wheel, 8” touch screen, front winch hitch and control already installed, lights, etc. 410hp 29k miles and only $39k. Tent on the way.
  2. News on further order submission delays (current dealer saying so)?

Seriously, jump ship off you’re considering it. I pulled the trigger on a ZR2 and love it. i had a fully loaded sport bad lands ordered and felt like I was just a number. Zero updates besides the automatic emails.
  3. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

How's this going now? Have you budged at all?
  4. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

Just bumping this for fun because it feels more than relevant again. There is no way in fuck I would pay THESE prices for my original black diamond reservation. No regrets cancelling. My fully loaded bronco sport bad lands should be delivered by March for under $40k. Not going to fool myself...
  5. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

I'm pretty set through Navy Federal. Thanks though!! :)
  6. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

2012 F150 ecoboost, 2011 2SS. With insurance I am paying $600 a month. Having a twin turbo truck and a 6.2L pony car is pretty sweet for the same price most people will be paying for their Bronco. With that said, I am working on refinancing the Camaro. The F150 is no good for me for a future...
  7. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

$700 a month for a Corolla? Lindsey Bluth, is that you?
  8. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

Sounds like a pretty solid financial decision. I mean if you beat the hell out of these things as they were designed to be, you will be able to find tons of hardly used ones three to four years from now, and a new vs lightly used won't make a lick of difference. I agree with you about the...
  9. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

Ahhh I see, I was thinking they were only refering to interest. But that wouldn't make sense per year anyways...
  10. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

Dumb question, but that's per year, right?? When you put it like that, that's not bad at all for borrowing a high level piece of machinery. Or... is that per month? Cause then that's kinda not so great. LOL
  11. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

I respect all of you for doing that kind of thing. Unfortunately I'm just not willing to change my standard of living for a car that would never reach it's full potential in my possession. I just wanted a safe 4 door truck that could take me anywhere I wanted to go. I'm not into off-roading...
  12. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

That is literally his name. I just said his name. He attempted to insult my decision making with extremely limited information. According to his judgement, deciding NOT to buy a brand new car is poor decision making. That's why I addressed his insult with a simple ok, because clearly there is no...
  13. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

What Sport?? Is that a FE or what? Why would you be putting $8k down on a lease? Do you get that money back??
  14. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

Becuase it creates a false and unrealistic demand which drives prices higher? I guess it's true that age does not equal wisdom.
  15. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

That's not an opinion. It's a pretty hard fact that keeping a car for 15 years saves close to a quarter of a million dollars over your life than to trade financed cars over your lifetime.
  16. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

I thought I was bad at English... That's exactly what I'm trying to say!! The new normal isn't good. Yeah, I think you are exactly right that it might be the last of it's kind! That's why it's so enticing.
  17. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

I truly am worried about how many people are going to go underwater or make a dumb decision because of this thing. It's just another one of those things that has crept into our culture without keeping up with wages for most people. What's really eerie to think about is that more and more states...
  18. SAD: I can't afford the new Bronco. :(

There is definitely something to be said for the satisfaction of waiting and the joy that it brings. I own a house and two awesome vehicles, and tons of other toys before 30. So it's hard to complain. It does make me happy that people out there are getting what they deserve though. You sound...
