I went with a 2019 ZR2. Lifted, aftermarket sunroof, AEV wheels, rack, cover, and a mother****ing super charger, leather, heated seats and steering wheel, 8” touch screen, front winch hitch and control already installed, lights, etc. 410hp 29k miles and only $39k. Tent on the way.
Seriously, jump ship off you’re considering it. I pulled the trigger on a ZR2 and love it.
i had a fully loaded sport bad lands ordered and felt like I was just a number. Zero updates besides the automatic emails.
Just bumping this for fun because it feels more than relevant again. There is no way in fuck I would pay THESE prices for my original black diamond reservation. No regrets cancelling. My fully loaded bronco sport bad lands should be delivered by March for under $40k. Not going to fool myself...
2012 F150 ecoboost, 2011 2SS.
With insurance I am paying $600 a month. Having a twin turbo truck and a 6.2L pony car is pretty sweet for the same price most people will be paying for their Bronco.
With that said, I am working on refinancing the Camaro. The F150 is no good for me for a future...
Sounds like a pretty solid financial decision. I mean if you beat the hell out of these things as they were designed to be, you will be able to find tons of hardly used ones three to four years from now, and a new vs lightly used won't make a lick of difference.
I agree with you about the...
Dumb question, but that's per year, right?? When you put it like that, that's not bad at all for borrowing a high level piece of machinery.
Or... is that per month? Cause then that's kinda not so great. LOL
I respect all of you for doing that kind of thing. Unfortunately I'm just not willing to change my standard of living for a car that would never reach it's full potential in my possession. I just wanted a safe 4 door truck that could take me anywhere I wanted to go. I'm not into off-roading...
That is literally his name. I just said his name. He attempted to insult my decision making with extremely limited information. According to his judgement, deciding NOT to buy a brand new car is poor decision making. That's why I addressed his insult with a simple ok, because clearly there is no...
That's not an opinion. It's a pretty hard fact that keeping a car for 15 years saves close to a quarter of a million dollars over your life than to trade financed cars over your lifetime.
I thought I was bad at English...
That's exactly what I'm trying to say!! The new normal isn't good.
Yeah, I think you are exactly right that it might be the last of it's kind! That's why it's so enticing.
I truly am worried about how many people are going to go underwater or make a dumb decision because of this thing. It's just another one of those things that has crept into our culture without keeping up with wages for most people. What's really eerie to think about is that more and more states...
There is definitely something to be said for the satisfaction of waiting and the joy that it brings. I own a house and two awesome vehicles, and tons of other toys before 30. So it's hard to complain. It does make me happy that people out there are getting what they deserve though. You sound...
