Well planned marketing by Ford as they hold out on just enough "wants" on each model to motivate you to upgrade and spend more jack. No secret there. At the end of the day, it is a personal choice and I decided I didn't need the extra BL stuff (not an off roader) so we sacrificed the 12" screen...

Was all in on the Outer banks as I will likely never go off road (intentionally) but do not like the body colored fenders and door handles at all. But I want the high package (12" LCD) which takes me to the Badlands....any chance one could order the OB without the body colored handles/fenders? thx

I am simply taking the included soft top with my 4 door Badlands and will by the white hard top when available....

I am going with a 4 door (Badlands) soft top (waiting for the white painted hard top in 2022) but if you get the 4 door w/o the MIC top, you can't select the door covers (bags) for storage....so do they come automatically? or how do you get them? thx

you miss the point, I don’t want all the goodies, however, the marketing machine configures options so that if you want a steering wheel that turns right and left you have to upgrade to the lux package that also gives you a bunch of goodies you don’t want which takes you to $55.....maybe you can...

Amen, Ford thinks they are being amazingly tricky with the it marketing prowess but they are losing buyers.....I am no longer going to wait another ~ year for a car that was advertised at $29K and to get what I want, it is now $55K and I haven’t seen it or will be able to buy it and they now...

Does anyone else feel there was a bit of a bait and switch with what we saw in July and what is available now? Not too mention that to get a gas peddle, you have to buy the Luxury pkg :)
