  1. Pennsylvania WTB OEM Seats

Hey all, I have a 2022 Badlands with the Marine Grade VInyl seats, and would love to put them into my 1995 Bronco. So instead of paying to get my 1995 seats reupholstered, I'd like to see if anyone is selling their OEM seats (MGV or Leather). If so hit me up, I'll be happy to travel the east...
  2. BYOD Rail adapters

Found these on amazon: https://a.co/d/5JjbzvS They just arrived today and I put them on my Archetype BYOD rail and it works perfectly. Just waiting on my 1/4x20 phone mount and will post pics.
  3. Sleeping in 2 Door Bronco

I'm getting into the Overlanding arena as well, I have an m116A3 generator trailer that I'm converting into a squaredrop trailer with a 270* awning. Until that happens, the 270 is too long for my 2dr, but I picked up an ARB 2000x2500 awning with the awning room. I'll be using that for my camping...
  4. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Honestly, everything held up fine, just the horn went wonky until it dried up, and water was retained in over head trim, a couple spots in the console and the headlight switch held some water on the backside.
  5. My Bronco and matching Cactus Gray M416 overlanding trailer custom build

Great job! Looks well done, I'm in the process of doing a squaredrop build with my m116a3 trailer. Glad to see another east coaster getting involved in the overlanding sport.
  6. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

You are right, poor word choice on my part. I won't change it though, as I waited as well. 1 year 10 months and 17 days. Day 1 reservation holder. Heaven forbid I discuss an issue on my vehicle, on a forum about that vehicle, in a category listed as "issues, repairs, etc". When they get their...
  7. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Yea, because next time some one asks about their horn going off because their interior got wet in a new thread, you can yell at them they should search, then spend hours wading through people's BS comments? Perhaps people just need to realize the difference in the medium that they use...
  8. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Really? Why don't you read it again. GTFO of here with this BS. I constructively criticized the build quality of the vehicle. There was a pop up storm while i was nowhere to see it. There have been multiple articles referring to its features of weather sealed switches and washout interior...
  9. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Does this tarp automatically deploy when you're away from the vehicle? Unfortunately my top panels that were in the back didn't have that feature... 😆
  10. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

There's a lot more to the cost of a piece of equipment that a military contract requires, which is why a bolt at the hardware store for $3 is $50 in a gov contract. You wouldn't be comparing apples to apples.
  11. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Certain things can be designed to minimize risk of failure, didn't say it had to be waterproof or IP68 rated, nor do I expect the level of R&D to be put into it as a piece of equipment designed for Combat, CBRNE, and severe austere environments. It's not rocket science to change the shape of...
  12. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

Haha truthfully, milspec is a joke, I would never wish that upon any one. Have you seen or used military equipment? Now, aviation is a different story. And, in regards to the drains... they would obviously need to be routed to an exit point such as an exterior drain or even just to the...
  13. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

I get it, but why bother with sealing the switches and few other components that are in the open, but not the headlight switch or steering wheel. Why put drain holes in the wireless charging tray but not the cup holders. Why design window buttons to act as a cup for liquids... I'm not asking...
  14. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

If you accept low standards then progress will never be made.
  15. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

This was more of a PSA than anything, it's not like I said "it's waterproof let it get rained on" It was an unexpected and unforseen shower. I understand the risks of leaving the tops off and accepted the results. Let's not assume people's intellectual capacities here, and keep the forum...
  16. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

2022 Badlands 2dr lux sasquatch, mgv and tow package. Went to the store yesterday, skies were sunny with a few scattered clouds. Had the front two panels off and windows down. Came out and there had to have been a torrential downpour. Interior was soaked. Found that the cupholders don't...

  19. Chapman Ford Lancaster / Delivery Day

Absolutely! He's got to learn to wrench and respect them before he can drive them though :) My neighbor asked "Now that you have a new one, are you towing the old one away?" Halfway joking lol. I gave her a look like "I'll burn your house down".
  20. Chapman Ford Lancaster / Delivery Day

The day finally came! 1 year 10 months and 17 days after my initial reservation, I took ownership of my 2022 2 Door Badlands Sasquatch! I was about to give in and started pushing all my available funds to my 1995 Bronco Rebuild, until Mid April this year when I recieved my VIN and Build date...
