Hey all,
The maintenance schedule through FordPass is telling me the first service visit is at 10,000 miles (2021 Badlands). I'm currently at 4,000 and planning a ~1k mile trip up into the Smokey Mountains. Should I wait and follow the listed schedule or would y'all recommend getting the car...
Hopefully all of these new VIN's with production dates in November front-run my production that has been kicked down the road since my initial production date in early July.
congrats to y'all but sheesh!
First off-road vehicle for me and going to need rockrails for my Badlands 4 door. Curious what brands I should be targeting. Is Go Rino a great place to start? What others should I be on the lookout for?
My dealer didn’t share any info with me besides my spot in line and that they have “lots of orders and I’m in a great spot”. I’m at Pearson Ford near Indianapolis, IN
Submitted my order and filled out the tracking form. I was a 7/13 reservation. Went with a 4-door, 2.7L 10-speed carbonized gray Badlands with upgraded wheels and lux package.
SAS or 33" BL.. that is the question of the year. I've been looking for Wranglers with 35"s lately. Still keep going back and forth given it will be my DD with maybe 5% of usage being off road. Here are some examples:
Carbonized Gray Badlands 4D with the 33" Optional wheels/tires.. this is what i've been eyeing. However, I go back and forth daily on 33" or Squatch 35s. I've been on the prowl looking at Wranglers in my area with 33" and 35" and I still can't make a decision.
Anyone have suggestions? Some...
Tom Wood doesn't expect to have any mark-ups but not commenting on what discounts they'll provide until they get more clarity on invoice costs once order book opens. They can't believe some dealers are offering below invoice because they don't even know what invoice will be yet.
Don Hinds Ford in Fishers: Not taking any deposits for reservations, no mark-ups, treating each reservation case-by-case with goal to be MSRP but likely will provide some discounting.
The bigger touchscreen, forward sensing, 360 camera all seem to be worthwhile features for the relatively small cost to upgrade to high package. I've been eyeing the Lux package since the beginning for ACC, speakers, evasive steering, and heated steering wheel.
Thing that grinds my gears is...
Result of never having owned an off-road vehicle. I'm upgrading from 17yrs of driving a used '99 dodge intrepid and mazda 6. This is going to be quite the change but I can't wait to have a vehicle I love instead of one that I despise.
This is my thought exactly. Will I feel awkward with 35s driving through the suburbs given this will be my DD? Sasquatch looks great in pics but thinking that 33s are plenty big.
Anyone have thoughts on driveability differences between the two? Are 35s brutal on highways?
