If you are looking for a quick stop on the way to Duluth, Black River Harbor is a nice campground and has 5 waterfalls that are all about 5 minute walks from the main road.
Mid July-September is always much better. Late spring-early summer is always the worst timing so I expected it to be bad, but this year they had a late snowmelt that must have pushed all the hatches to the same time.
Put about 1,200 miles on this past weekend starting in TC, headed to the far side of the UP and back home to TC. Camped in four different locations starting in Ironwood and each day headed a little east until our last night in Marquette. The bugs in the Western UP were the worst I have ever...
Thanks for the advice! And don't worry, I've been looking at the TrailRax as a possible buy. If the OEM one doesn't seem up to par or if I want to add any other accessories I'll definitely be upgrading.
I've searched a bit on here and I may just be missing the posts, but I was wondering if anyone on here has used a RTT on an OEM Roof Rack. If so how sturdy did it feel and how heavy of an RTT did you use?
I'm getting an RTT second hand that is about 7 lbs over the 110lb limit that Ford lists...
I was mostly talking about how much Toyotas seat suck. But I don't really think it's fully apples and oranges when you are just thinking about off-road vehicles. For the average person that does light off-roading they are all going to be options to shop for if you are in the market for a new...
@bcool2525 did you order from Mike Lynch? That photo looks kind of like it, if so I hope you had as good of service as I did with Brian. I'll definitely go back there for my next vehicle.
Thanks to the OP for the write up (I've been running the side foam for a while but may try out some of the panel ones), and thanks to the folks pointing out where to watch for proper drainage! I would be interested if anyone has had a chance to run a decibel meter in a bunch of different Broncos...
When I was finalizing everything on my purchase last month the first thing my dealer told me was "do not go through Ford as their rates are not competitive at all". Out of curiosity I got pre-approved at my credit union and Ford and it was 2.25% vs 5.4% with great credit.
I'm sure other people...
Congrats! It really changes how you use this forum. 2 weeks ago I paid attention to all the depressing delay posts and now I only care about all the cool modification and accessory posts.
Picked up the Bronco yesterday. Brian Lynch at Mike Lynch Ford was great. Not only did he honor the price we set for the original reservation, but he helped get everything prepped before I got there so it took a whole 5 minutes to get the purchase complete.
Absolutely love it so far, I...
I actually live in the TC area now and I have started to see a lot here in the last month, it feels like they exploded out of nowhere (could be summer home folks).
When I visit family in the Alpena/Rogers City area I generally see the same 2-3 around, but not a ton.
In my opinion the 2 doors look great without SAS, the one we were looking at was a base with some aftermarket rims and I think 32/33s and it looked really good. I couldn't not get SAS on my 4 door though.
@Zombie Salamander Same, he has been incredible to work with. My father in law has worked with him for years and recommended him so I moved my reservation over after having bad luck with Fox Motors in TC. He's honoring our original pricing agreement and has been helpful with any requests I send...
