It's actually pretty simple: don't roll out a steady stream of not-yet-available improvements or new models until you can deliver on the original product that was promised. That's pretty much Product Development 101.
Ford trawling to broaden their customer base when they can't satisfy existing ones is senseless. If Ford wanted to play on their "heritage", they could offer 4-slotted white steelies, and a white grille with raised lettering, etc. as accessories or as a package on 2021 Broncos...there's NOTHING...
Seriously? It's like watching trailers for a sequel before the main feature film has even been released. It's just dumb. With all this over-promising and under-delivering...Bronco is bound to be a dud.
Another new "Edition". Yawn. Why does Ford keep doing this when they can't even deliver on what they've promised? Seriously, I'm tired of the Bronco already and I haven't even seen one yet. Most hyped vehicle ever.
Interior color accents that only match the sub-model logo on the exterior is an awful choice. And that dash color? Ooof. Cancelled my Bronco order until Ford can sort out the color schemes. 2022 MY is probably a better idea anyway.
The more of these I see, the more I think I should cancel my 2021 reservation and wait until these mature a bit. Maybe it's just this OBX example, but some of these combinations look a bit too cartoonish for my taste. I mean, nothing really flows with the MIC top, two tone interior with blue...
In playing with the configurator a little more, it has become apparent how manipulative Ford is in driving the price up or advancing you to the next model just to get popular incremental features. But what did we expect? This is a corporation that needs to get the highest margins possible, but...
Dear Ford: Please make MGV seating with rubber flooring an option on the base model. This is not a luxury option...my base F-150 XL has rubber flooring, why can't we get it on the Bronco?
To the OP...I was just thinking the same thing. I've been configuring on the lower end of the Bronco spectrum as this will be a "fun" third car. So I'm looking at the Base, perhaps stretching in to the BD. I do some off-roading and like the idea of at least a rear locker, so Squatching the...
