  1. Dual Battery Setups vs Portable Power supply

It’s been so long since I’ve checked back in on this post. Interesting to see how it’s grown over the years. Long story short, I’m on my second Bronco and I’m currently running a portable battery (ECOFLOW) I do have the American adventure labs compressor/platform/fridge slider/shelf. I will be...
  2. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

I see the Amazon one, is there an assumption everyone has purchased the exact same product from Amazon? I responded to another Hooke road rack post asking if anyone has tried another seal. I found a similar seal on McMaster Carr. Thinking about trying it out. It’s ~1/8” shorter closer to 2.5”...
  3. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

About to get this ordered and modified reduce wind noise. What seal did you use for the front fairing gap?
  4. Hooke Road Full Roof Rack Noise Reduction Experiment

Any more experimentation with this? Is this RV grade seal the same 2.6” seal from Amazon that I’ve seen recommended by others? I love these kind of projects/tweaks. Would a slightly shorter seal ~2” in height be better? See attached seal from McMaster-Carr. I’m about to buy this rack and all...
  5. Dual Battery Setups vs Portable Power supply

Are you getting another products installed by AAL? Let us know what you do with jack, remount or replace?
  6. Dual Battery Setups vs Portable Power supply

It’s ironic that you bumped this thread as I just got back from a 2 night trip in the bronco and I’m considering my next move again. I’ve seen the AAL setup, I’m considering going with other products from them. I also need to upgrade/downsize my current compressor setup and that mount is a...
  7. Hammer Built - Built to Hammer On: Modular Tailgate Reinforcement System

Has anyone sourced a shorter shock for the tailgate? Monsoon winds just sent my tailgate flying! The rotopax mount cracked the tail light reflector a little bit.

Just got the coveted email from FORD finally!! Res Date: ~10/26 Order Confirmation: ~7/26 Build Date: 12/6 4Dr, Badlands, 2.3L, Auto, Soft Top, Lux, Tow, Cactus
  9. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

I'd love to see a barra bronco! I'm also ready to see what the aftermarket has in store for transmission/engine tuning.
  10. Ford colors currently offered...why not the Bronco

I’m a fan of Dark highland green!
  11. If your Bronco arrives and you don't like it

I’d consider the next gen 4Runner if it gets the rumored tech and drivetrain upgrades. As my S/O’s car, not mine if that’s the case. Then I move on to the new BMW 2 series/M2 planned for MY22. Depending on how the market goes a used 991.2 carrera.
  12. Mammoth Lakes Area 51 Overland Concept - Dusk/Night Photos

@NurseA.J I have two small/medium sized dogs as well. Moving up from a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk to this. Badlands is the trim to have for sure! Same to you!! Stay healthy and safe that way we can enjoy the adventure when delivery time comes!
  13. Mammoth Lakes Area 51 Overland Concept - Dusk/Night Photos

They illuminated when the door was opened/closed. Then stayed on for about 60 seconds, I would hope the stay on time is customizable similar to how it works on my BMW. I noticed the switch for the mirror mounted lights on the dash but did not ask to turn those on, they seem to function by...
  14. Mammoth Lakes Area 51 Overland Concept - Dusk/Night Photos

Thank you! This trip definitely sealed the deal for me, Ford did so many things right. I’m sure waiting a few more months will be worth it 100%. I’m personally between Cactus Grey and Carbonized Grey after seeing the display colors although if Ford could give us Dark Highland Green I’d be all...
  15. Mammoth Lakes Area 51 Overland Concept - Dusk/Night Photos

The photos of the cans have a slight yellow hue as they were positioned close to a store front that had yellow lighting. Similar to what is shown in the background of that photo. The photos of the Area 51 bronco that show a blue tint are very true to color, these were shot on my 12 pro max.
  16. Mammoth Lakes Area 51 Overland Concept - Dusk/Night Photos

Drove up from LA for the day, made a nice trip out of it. Got there around 10 am and it was really laid back. Had Lunch on June Lake in the back of the Gladiator I rented for the weekend. This adventure gave me the opportunity to build a healthy list of nuances for comparison. Looking forward...
  17. Any CA locations announced to view Bronco?

Is there a schedule for mammoth yet?
  18. Black Diamond, WilkTrak & Bronco Sport...Oh my!! ???

I wouldn’t be shocked if the 285/70-17 (33) from the badlands fits
  19. Anyone else cross shopping the Bronco with the 2021 F-150?

If you have a space, or a back yard to park it in just get a 5x8 trailer for that oncea month trip to Home Depot. I’ve noticed most of the long bed trucks I see around here (LA) have rear quarter/bed damage. Tight parking lots/drive aisles are not built to accommodate them.
  20. Anyone else cross shopping the Bronco with the 2021 F-150?

I understand where you’re at.. if you want more “utility” than “sport” get an F-150. The bronco is a lifestyle vehicle, the f-150 is a pickup truck.
