  1. Getting rid of body colored fender flares for factory black plastic flares?

I really like the body colored fenders. I wonā€™t have to worry about getting car wax on black plastic trim that wonā€™t come off. Iā€™m going with a cactus gray OBX and I think the lighter colored fenders make the stock tires look larger.
  2. Advanced 4x4 vs the standard option

Iā€™m going with OB 2.3 auto trans 4dr. I decided to go with the 4A auto 4x4. During the BP process when I click on auto 4x4 the following happens. Instead of just giving me auto 4x4 it also switches me into the 4.27 axle and a rear locking diff. It adds $1590 to my build. I would be happy with...

  4. 2.7L, or 2.3L. Help me make the right decision.

Iā€™m old too and when they ask me what engine Is in my Bronco Iā€™m gonna say proudly, itā€™s got a 4 banger and it goes like hell. I get a kick out of the youngsters who have got to have the 2.7 6cyl. They will be the ones who get a fast start at the stop light next to me and I will coast up to them...
  5. How much is advanced 4wd?

I want it as a stand alone on my OBX but no luck. Originally I was going with 2.3L, auto trans, part time 4x4 and 3.73 axle. I decided to stay with 2.3L auto trans but upgrade to advanced auto 4x4. When I did this it added rear locking axle and switched to the 4.27 axle. The price for this was...
  6. Needed: 4x4 Option Explanation

Thank you guys for your answers. Itā€™s funny you used a Subaru comparison because thatā€™s what my wife drives and I like that when we have slippery icy conditions here in So Oregon the AWD is nice feature. Me on the other hand have an older 4WD Tundra. Iā€™m pretty much stuck with 2WD because if I...
  7. Needed: 4x4 Option Explanation

So does this mean if I go with Part Time Selectable when I put it into 4H it will be the same as 4A but I did it manually
  8. Dealer meeting today, more info should be coming soon

Did I read the post right. Didnā€™t he say the 4dr, 2.3L, soft top and Big Bend as the LEAST likely to have an issue.
  9. 2 Door Vs. 4 Door Bronco Daily Drivers

Iā€˜m old and have an iffy back and shoulder. So much easier to stuff things through the back doors. I know Iā€™m going against the grain of this thread but I think the 4dr looks better.
  10. How long will you keep your Bronco?

Iā€™ll be 80 when it arrives. Hope to drive it for 20 years like my current 2001 Tundra. Wish me luck.
  11. POLL: what powertrain are you choosing at order time?

2.3 Auto because Iā€˜m retired and not in hurry to get anywhere.
  12. Speaker locations in regular sound system and 10 speaker B&O system?

Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be happy as hell with this system listening to Marty Robbins singing The Streets of Laredo. The country music I listen to will sound GREAT on the B &O system. Iā€™m sure my dog will like it too.
  13. How many will it take? How many reservation dropouts will it take for me to get a 2021?

My res date 7-17. The Bronco is going to be my 80th birthday present to myself. It has to arrive by August.
  14. 12/13 UPDATE - Updated control arms not just for Sasquatch 33s fitting OBX - 33.2x11.2 (275/70r18) close to max size after Ranger testing

Thanks for the great info. I am getting a OBX auto trans with the 3.73 open rear axle. will the 275/70/R18ā€™s work well with this gear ratio or should I go with the 4.27. Most of my driving will be street travels. Thanks
  15. Changing trim level at order

I am getting an OBX with the stock 18ā€ wheels and tires. I love the look of the bigger tires but not sure how handling would be as 99% of my driving will be hardtop driving. Does the Squatch suspension make for a harder ride around town or highways.
