I really like the body colored fenders. I wonāt have to worry about getting car wax on black plastic trim that wonāt come off. Iām going with a cactus gray OBX and I think the lighter colored fenders make the stock tires look larger.
Iām going with OB 2.3 auto trans 4dr. I decided to go with the 4A auto 4x4. During the BP process when I click on auto 4x4 the following happens. Instead of just giving me auto 4x4 it also switches me into the 4.27 axle and a rear locking diff. It adds $1590 to my build. I would be happy with...
Iām old too and when they ask me what engine Is in my Bronco Iām gonna say proudly, itās got a 4 banger and it goes like hell. I get a kick out of the youngsters who have got to have the 2.7 6cyl. They will be the ones who get a fast start at the stop light next to me and I will coast up to them...
I want it as a stand alone on my OBX but no luck. Originally I was going with 2.3L, auto trans, part time 4x4 and 3.73 axle. I decided to stay with 2.3L auto trans but upgrade to advanced auto 4x4. When I did this it added rear locking axle and switched to the 4.27 axle. The price for this was...
Thank you guys for your answers. Itās funny you used a Subaru comparison because thatās what my wife drives and I like that when we have slippery icy conditions here in So Oregon the AWD is nice feature. Me on the other hand have an older 4WD Tundra. Iām pretty much stuck with 2WD because if I...
Iām old and have an iffy back and shoulder. So much easier to stuff things through the back doors. I know Iām going against the grain of this thread but I think the 4dr looks better.
Iām sure Iāll be happy as hell with this system listening to Marty Robbins singing The Streets of Laredo. The country music I listen to will sound GREAT on the B &O system. Iām sure my dog will like it too.
Thanks for the great info. I am getting a OBX auto trans with the 3.73 open rear axle. will the 275/70/R18ās work well with this gear ratio or should I go with the 4.27. Most of my driving will be street travels. Thanks
I am getting an OBX with the stock 18ā wheels and tires. I love the look of the bigger tires but not sure how handling would be as 99% of my driving will be hardtop driving. Does the Squatch suspension make for a harder ride around town or highways.
