Many of us had both on order. I had a Porsche GT3 and a Wildtrak on order. Got the GT3 in December and cancelled my Bronco because of all the quality issues. Bought a Honda Passport Trailsport in the interim until Ford gets their act together (which may be never). Waited 31 months for the...
I was going to draft a post almost identical to yours highlighting many of the same issues. Don't forget Ford employees left testing equipment attached to the OBD plug and spare/random parts left in the vehicle. I also have a Wildtrak on order and I'm in discussions with Toyota and wife to...
I'm a 7/22 Wildtrak w/Lux, Leather, Tow, 2.7 and squatch of course. Nothing. I am about to pull the plug and go with another brand. Not because of the schedule dysfunction or the wait. I can't get over all the quality issues associated with this vehicle. It's unbelievable to me.
I received my email last Saturday at 2am which seems a lot earlier than others. Is there any significance to receiving the email earlier than others? I am a day 7 reservation holder with a Wildtrak with all the cardinal sins.
The bias is the OP's, not Motor Trend's. Between the MIC top, the poor welds/seems, the rubbing soft top and mismatched seats just to name a few - it is clear the Bronco has poor build quality.
But what is even more alarming is that there are so many customers like the OP who don't hold...
I have 8 of them. Why did Ford even announce this car and allow us to order it if they can't build the car? Really frustrating. I'm still waiting for my scheduled build that was originally promised to me by Ford last May.
I was never impressed with this guy Levin or any of the executives at Ford. They are disconnected from their dealerships and their customers to say something like that...... And I am not a customer from one of those dealerships either.
That's really cool! I have another car on order besides the Bronco and that brand automatically sends pics of their car on the assembly line as it is being produced to each owner. It really makes the owner experience very special. I hope Ford does this in the future without the need for their...
That is actually not true. Cars get damaged frequently in transport. (not this bad usually) and the dealer or some other company fixes the damage (door dings, scuffs etc). It happens. If it gets fixed before being handed over to the customer and as long as insurance is not used to fix it, it...
I can't recall the last time I ever test drove a car. I just bought a $200k car without even seeing one in person. My first drive of the Bronco will be when I drive it off the lot.
I was curious how the process works for loading cars on rail cars. I didn't realize that they drive them from one rail car right through to the ones in front. Obviously makes sense and much more efficient than loading each car individually. Here is a video. How the heck do the drivers get...
