  1. Scheduled for production on an order I never placed ...

Had a reservation at a dealership that I ultimately never used, but apparently the dealership went ahead and placed an order under my name as I recently received a notice from Ford that "my vehicle" has been scheduled for production on 1/23/23. Looks like they ordered the cheapest thing...
  2. Sayonara! Sold my Bronco and bought a Crosstrek.

I’m not trolling and will probably get roasted for this, but I could take my 2 door Basesquatch as a daily driver for only 4 months. Main issues for me were the inability to fold the rears seats flat for cargo, the sketchiness of the load factor for roof cargo and the dismal gas mileage – for...
  3. My feelings regarding ADM

I'm probably in the minority here, but in today's market paying $ 8k ADM for a Bronco isn't as bad of a deal as it might appear, at least for some buyers. If I need to buy a car now and my choices are 1) a new Bronco at 15% over MSRP or 2) a used car that costs 40% more than it did a year ago...
  4. Base Sasquatch Review – the Good, the Bad & the Ugly

Yes I have the embedded mirrors but I haven’t found them very useful for true blind spots. After one near miss, I even had a guy give me a hand signal that I assume meant he thought Broncos were #1
  5. Base Sasquatch Review – the Good, the Bad & the Ugly

For those interested here are my quick thoughts after a month of City Driving. I ordered a 2-door base Sasquatch and took delivery last month. Here’s what I like, what I don’t and what I wished I had ordered instead. The Good: Looks absolutely fantastic – it’s definitely a head turner, only...
  6. đź›  1/10/22 Build Week Group

Got my picture today as well, we must have come off the line very close to each other because the EG Bronco & white pick-up in the background are in the same position. Surprised to get a pic today since I actually received my vehicle last week.
  7. đź›  1/10/22 Build Week Group

Yes, tracker page showed as shipped and now it does show as delivered. I tried the Auto Transport page (https://palsapp.com/) a couple of times, while it acknowledged the VIN the response was always "pending".
  8. đź›  1/10/22 Build Week Group

1/10 Build Week delivered & purchased! My build date was 1/13 & estimated delivery date was 1/21. Got a surprise call from my dealer that it was ready this afternoon. Went in and purchased it and immediately went on a 120 mile round trip to see one of my kid's basketball game. Pleasantly...
  9. đź›  1/10/22 Build Week Group

FWIW it looks like there currently is a 3 day lag from your original blend date to when it’s actually built. I’m a 1/10 blend date, my mods popped today and my tracker says my order was actually built yesterday 1/13. So hopefully you 1/12 guys see something positive in a couple of days.
  10. My Bronco order is listed for sale with 25K ADM [UPDATE: turned out to be automated listing with automatic ADM adjustment]

I'd personally call the GM but I don't think you need to be overly concerned that they are trying to sell it out from under you. Dealers routinely advertise special order vehicles which is the status of yours and everyone else on this forum that has made an order. If someone asks about your...
  11. Just wanting to know, why 35+ tire size's

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but at least with 35’s I’ll have the biggest tires on my block.
  12. Broncos showing up for sale

Average new car sold for about 2 percent over MSRP in October 2021: https://www.gobankingrates.com/saving-money/car/new-car-prices-skyrocket-buyers-pay-5000-dollars-more-on-average-analysts-emphasize-sellers-market/ Mark-ups of course depend on the car. While we’re all aware of the huge...
  13. ADV Fiberglass - Bronco Hardtop Teaser - Part 1

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but It'd be nice to dispense with just releasing "snippets of information" and "teaser threads" as there are a fair number of members on this forum that have likely had enough of "stay tuned" enticements. I realize you don't have a finished product yet, but...
  14. đź›  1/10/22 Build Week Group

Having just been booted off the 1/3/22 Island to 1/10/22, adding a column to list originally scheduled build week might be useful information for people to manage expectations.
  15. Any reputable dealerships in the Maryland DC area?

Ourisman Ford in Alexandria is very responsive, they are selling at MSRP but I don’t know what their allocation ratio is. Ted Britt & Sheehy are larger dealers both with good reputations, might have better than average allocations.
  16. Surviving the Wait

2010 Xterra Off Road with 160k miles and survivor of 2 teenage drivers, fine in the city but has busted last two trips across State lines. Have a 1/3 build date and hoping I don’t have to put any more $ in it in the meantime.
  17. Carvana is asking $ 20,000+ mark-ups for all Bronco trims

So I guess you've got to pay big-time for their "no hassle" car buying experience. I recognize these are all vehicles they purchased from individuals, but geez ... $ 63k for a no-frills Big Bend? Also looks like they are asking a full $ 30k mark-up on an OBX...
  18. Up-Close Pics: 2022 Capable Front Bumper

If anyone is interested in selling their capable bumper there's a chance I'll be in the market for one in a few months, assuming my vehicle actually gets built ...
  19. Just as a bit of advice to everyone on here, don't bankrupt yourself trying to get a Bronco

I’m a CPA but also realize that every decision doesn’t have to make sense financially if it brings quality to your lives. The best “waste” of money we’ve ever incurred have been some fairly pricey overseas trips with our kids - great experiences & memories. A good friend of mine - a...
  20. My 2022 Eruption Green Scheduled for December production

FWIW, I have a 7/30/20 timestamp and received an e-mail today saying my build is scheduled for 1/3/22. Order date was 10/26 for a 2 door, base SAS. Was expecting a much longer wait, but it basically comes down to where you stand within your dealer's allocations.
