  1. Scheduled for production on an order I never placed ...

Had a reservation at a dealership that I ultimately never used, but apparently the dealership went ahead and placed an order under my name as I recently received a notice from Ford that "my vehicle" has been scheduled for production on 1/23/23. Looks like they ordered the cheapest thing...
  2. Sayonara! Sold my Bronco and bought a Crosstrek.

I’m not trolling and will probably get roasted for this, but I could take my 2 door Basesquatch as a daily driver for only 4 months. Main issues for me were the inability to fold the rears seats flat for cargo, the sketchiness of the load factor for roof cargo and the dismal gas mileage – for...
  3. Base Sasquatch Review – the Good, the Bad & the Ugly

For those interested here are my quick thoughts after a month of City Driving. I ordered a 2-door base Sasquatch and took delivery last month. Here’s what I like, what I don’t and what I wished I had ordered instead. The Good: Looks absolutely fantastic – it’s definitely a head turner, only...
  4. Carvana is asking $ 20,000+ mark-ups for all Bronco trims

So I guess you've got to pay big-time for their "no hassle" car buying experience. I recognize these are all vehicles they purchased from individuals, but geez ... $ 63k for a no-frills Big Bend? Also looks like they are asking a full $ 30k mark-up on an OBX...
  5. New Land Rover "Baby" Defender 80 arriving in 2022 with $ 30k price tag

First time I've seen this, Land Rover supposedly coming out with a 2023 Defender 80 arriving in late 2022. To be priced beginning around $ 30,000 so direct competition to the Bronco & Wrangler per the video. I'm sticking with a Bronco whenever it arrives, but if true this could definitely...
  6. CNET Bronco Review : Legit Jeep Slayer & a warning to Ford

Great review by CNET that came out a few days ago: https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/reviews/2021-ford-bronco-review-preview/ Starts out with It's real and it's spectacular but the last paragraph titled "Bronco's Biggest Problem" might be the most interesting: To be an early Bronco reservation...
  7. Shouldn't a 2.7L cost you only $300 additional with Sasquatch rather than $1,895?

Under B&P the cost of an automatic is included if you opt for the 2.7L so $1,895 combined. So if you're ordering a sasquatch (which includes an auto on the current B & P), shouldn't the cost of going to a 2.7 from a 2.3 in theory be only $300 additional? - i.e. the difference over the separate...
  8. Washington D.C. Anyone interested in selling a set of Big Bend wheels & tires?

Way early I know, but no harm in seeing what might be out there. I have a Base reserved & the Sasquatch package is going to be overkill for the streets of DC. I like the Big Bend wheels & tires & no issues with bolting them directly on a Base so if anyone might be interested at some point...
