Adding more pics - @goalie you are correct in that they aren’t as helpful getting out unless you take your time and turn your foot a bit. I just skip them and jump/slide down a lot, depends how much of a hurry I am in. But getting in, which seems to be a majority of our use case, is good. I...
I just installed the OEM side steps on my 4-door base sas today mainly because my wife didn’t like jumping in. They are solid and seemed high quality, install was very easy took about 15 minutes total. 6 13mm bolts on each side into pre threaded holes. I liked the bronco lettering on the oem...
I’m 6’ and was surprised how easy it was to get into the BD w/Sasquatch I sat in at a dealer event. Required a little pull on the handle, yes, but much easier than I expected.
Exactly the same, after running numbers it just made too much sense. Willing to leave a couple of the nice-to-haves off to save what amounted to $10k for me.
Same here, digging AMB and went with it on Base. I am liking the MIC/fenders/handles/mirrors/grille all tying together and creating a nice contrast with the AMB to break it up a bit.
^This exactly. I currently have an Atlas with the same setup. The Diono Radian 3rxt has the lowest profile and is also the heaviest so if you don’t plan to move very often you’re in good shape. They advertise fitting three across in most vehicles.
I remember reading somewhere on here that someone contacted Bestop and there were no plans currently to do both the front and middle sections with a sunrider. Just the front for now. That’s exactly what I’m after too.
Still haven’t seen a clear answer (if it’s even known) on this unless I missed it. I get the base doesn’t have tinted windows, only on BB and above, but if you option the MIC top at $695, will those windows be tinted? Because that’s the same cost as the hard top on other trims that include the...
The only thing my wife says now is “get what you want”. She’s over it. Settled on Base Sasquatch 2.7 because of the value there and I’ll dump the $10-$15k saved on upgrading the family car that she’ll be driving and we’ll be in more often.
Yes it’s this way in the Order Guide too. It gets those base standard Co-Pilot 360 features, but not some of the additional ones (BLIS, lane keep, etc) that the mid-package and above have access to.
In the order guide, under Base it still has “Pedestrian Detection” and “Forward Collision Warning” in the Co-Pilot 360 section - are you thinking those are separate from the bumper?
The auto trans is included in the 4-door Base and not the BB, so that’s part of it. A 4-dr Base SAS and a 4-dr BB w/Mid come out to almost the same exact price. From starting at Base, what it effectively costs for the mid-package on the BB ($2,680 to step up to BB from base plus $1595 for auto...
Unfortunately for me (and I’m sure many others) there is nothing between a 32 and 35 from the factory without stepping up to BL. I don’t plan on messing with sizes and such as I think stock will be setup for best performance if you’re not into any mods post-purchase. If a 33 option was...
It looks like it was limited before but now it’s free for life.

In order to do it from the key fob, it’s locked in mid. In the order guide for standard features on the base, it’s under the Ford Pass Connect section. I’ve seen some other threads on here where’s it been discussed for other Ford models. Huge advantage for still being available on Base for me...
