Forced induction does NOT always require premium. My Subaru Ascent has a turbo 4, and the recommendation is REGULAR gas. I run regular all the time and have never had an issue, nor has anyone in the Ascent forum.
For the Bronco though, if you're expecting a lot more horsepower and torque, I...
Sway bar bushings vulcanized to the bar means it's been fused to the metal of the bar and is an irremovable part of the sway bar. And if the loose end of the sway bar hits the CV boot then that's also game over.
It sounds like some aftermarket company is going to have to redesign the sway bar...
I know there's been threads on this, and that the sway bar is to the rear of the wheels. But does anyone have concrete info whether some manufacturer will create a manual disconnect . It's a big price jump to go from a BaseSquatch to the BL.
OK you guys have me totally confused. If these crash bars are an important safety item, especially in an offset accident, then why does Ford itself eliminate the crash bars on the BL Sasquatch? Doesn't the manufacturer have to comply with all safety standards across all its trim levels?
I also...
Actually I'm looking for a LC100 Landcruiser or LX470, or a GX470. Toyota reliability. Motors will run for 500k easy with just timing belt and water pump maintenance. Landcruisers are crazy about holding their values.
So frustrating. I was originally going to order a Wildtrack, then a BL. Now with all the delays I'm thinking Base Squatch 4 dr 2.7. I can live without the adaptive cruise and blind spot monitor, and I really don't need a 12" screen. I'm gonna mod the crap out of it anyway. But my reservation...
So confused now. When I last asked Serramonte Ford when I could order and receive my 11/30/2020 reservation for a Wildtrack, Lux, MIC Sasquatch,2.7, 4 door - the reply was I should be able to order in mid-Sept and receive my vehicle at the end of the first quarter. Now it seems like I have no...
I placed my order at the beginning of Dec 2020, so I doubt I will see my high option Squatch 2.7 until late 2022 or even 2023. It's really a grind to wait that long.
Honestly the Ranger is not that great looking of a truck in the first place, especially with those tiny wheels/tires. The Bronco, because it's gonna have massive wheels (mine will be 37's), with all sorts of black hardware hanging off it it, AND with the grayish MIC hard top, won't look nearly...
With the price of the Bronco at almost $60k for a loaded up unit, I'm tempted to buy a used late model Raptor instead. The Raptor has more power, a better suspension, more towing capacity, and with a cab over the bed, would carry much more stuff. Only thing is I already have a F450, so the...
I have zero experience rock crawling so my comments are to be taken in that light. Also I'm not about to take a $60k vehicle rock crawling.
If one reads the Jeep forums, you'll note that more than a few posters have stated that their Rubicon auto sway bar disconnect tends to stick or fail...
I'm really torn between the BL and WT. The problem is I hate vinyl and love cloth! But I like the basic interior of the BL and the functional extras. Too bad I can't get a BL with a cloth interior!
Since I'll be lifting it and installing 37" or 40" tires, and chipping it, I'm not going to buy an extended warranty. This vehicle is gonna be a pure toy for me and I'm gonna build the heck out of it.
No crash tests are not out yet. But I'm pretty sure the Bronco has side air bags and side curtain bags. Ford usually does pretty well on the safety department, especially their latest models. I just can't see putting my kids in the back of a Wrangler/Gladiator with the danger their heads could...
Well I didn't place my reservation till December and I ordered a 2.7 Wildtrack with Sasquatch and Lux packages. So I probably won't even get mine till MY 2023 lol. If only Jeep would make a Wrangler/Gladiator with side curtain airbags and side bags for the rear, I'd be all over that. But nooooo...
There was a rumor that Cybe Orange may be going away for MY2022. Considering the '21 model year will be massively truncated, I hope not as my reservation will put me into a '22 model.
I'm wavering right now. I'm still very interested in the Jeep Gladiator Sport S with Max Tow. And with a Magnussen supercharger. I'd build that sucker out. Only thing that holds me back is lack of safety airbags since I have 3 kids who'd sit in the 2nd row. I'm thinking as a trail vehicle the...
