  1. MAP closed for two weeks in July too?

I just read that MAP is closed for two weeks, but also has two weeks downtime in July, weeks of 7/5 and 7/12. Can anyone (MAP ees) confirm?
  2. Transfer Case Manufacturer?

Anyone know the make/model of t-case(s) available? New Process?
  3. 3,220 lbs tow rating showing for certain trims / models

Looks like the recently release specs show lower than 3,500 tow ratings for certain trims. 4D, Badlands, 2.7/auto, 3,220 lbs. Might check your trim against the specs. 3,500 was the "max".
  4. Preventing cup holder from being stolen ?

Just wondering what you guys are doing to prevent your cup holders from getting stolen? With a new vehicle like the Bronco, which already doesn't have enough cup holders, what are you doing to make sure no one steals the ones you have? Am I overthinking this?
  5. Priority Code ?

Does the priority code change what it says in the Ford account, Reservation, In-Store Order, etc.? After 3/19 (or whatever the date) does the Ford account status change?
  6. Status Change - Scheduled for Production 🤣

Just logged in to my Ford account and saw my reservation status, which used to say "In-Store Order" now says "Scheduled for Production". Anyone else notice this, or get an email from Ford (I haven't gotten an email, just wondering)?
  7. Solid Axles - front or rear - why?

I keep hearing about how independent suspension is better, but it has me wondering why they don't use the same independent axle in the rear. Obviously if they can use it in the front, with all the steering stuff, it'd be even easier in the rear. So...Why are solid axles used at all, front or...
  8. Forester the better buy???

Just read the Edmunds article, Ford Bronco Sport vs. Subaru Forester: Which Is Better? https://www.edmunds.com/car-news/ford-bronco-sport-vs-subaru-forester-which-is-better.html Surprised to read they thought the Subaru was the better buy. I guess I get it. The Subaru is better, but not as...
  9. 2.5" Lift - not so expensive afterall

I was just looking at quality (best quality ever made in this world or next, the best on nine planets) lift kits for the Ranger and see you can get one for less than $1,500. A 2.5" OME lift is only $1,400 and anyone with a shade-tree should be able to park the Bronco and install it. Includes...
  10. Dual Sport, Adventure Bike Events

I don't know if many of you ride motorcycles, but there are some great events out there. I've participated in a few, and this is one of the best: http://www.blackdogdualsport.com/ http://www.blackdogdualsport.com/bd_events.htm If you're interested in a dual sport/adventure bike event on the...
  11. Why No Published MPG ?

Seems Ford has been under criminal investigation by DOJ, CARB, EPA and Canadian EPA for how they calculated mileage. Looks like DOJ and CARB have dropped their investigations, but EPA and Canada have not. They are also involved in a class-action lawsuit for overstating fuel economy for F-150...
  12. General Question - Voiding Warranty With Aftermarket Parts / Mods?

Got a question for people waiting to modify their vehicle. Why wait? I keep seeing posts from people saying they won't … because they don't want to void their warranty, so they'll wait until year four or five. Again, why wait? What's the point of driving around in a vehicle that you don't...
  13. Raptor R = Warthog?

So, the Raptor will have an R trim. Is that basically what the Warthog is, the Raptor-R version of a Bronco? If so, it sounds like it could have 700 hp. Is that the collective expectation?
  14. FE or another trim

If the orders are going to be produced based on reservation, more or less, what guarantees you a FE? If you can change your trim, why can't someone with an earlier reservation get your FE? What guarantees you an FE if trims can be changed at the time of order, not based on trim reserved?
  15. Badlands

I want a Badlands real bad. Hopefully gonna get one soon. Hope I can order one real quick. Dealer should be able to put an order in for me. Hope the Badlands suspension is the same as the Sasquatch, or close to it, within 10mm or so. Might have to get a 2022, but I won't put up with that.
  16. Why Buy a 2021 ?

I've seen a number of posts about buying a Bronco and then trading it in for a 2022 or 2023, usually implying they'll trade it when the bugs are worked out, or when the options are available they want, or the V8 is offered or something. I'm just wondering why someone would go through the...
