Pfffft. Who cares at this point? Maybe they can come up with some other special editions while these sit. Limit supply so their dealers can overcharge on the ones where people “backed out”.
Who cares at this point. Maybe itll give em time to fix all the 2.7s blowing up. Long term this is going to really sting Ford. So many disgruntled people wont even sniff another one. Looking forward to next gen 4Runner.
These greedy pigs will be the first ones screaming about "buy local" when the market craters and people are using the internet to buy from mega dealers. I would make it a point to show up in my Bronco and just laugh at them.
Yes, already have reservation from second day orders were open. Dont have a build date yet, order has not been placed as far as I know because I am still able to change colors and such. Thats why Im not a fan of current dealer, hardly any communication.
Reading all the horror stories and the continued lack of communication from my dealer, Im looking for a dealership in Northeast Ohio, western PA, or southeastern MI that I can count on to not hack up the price once the order (2 door Badlands, loaded) once it actually arrives at the dealer. Im...
Worst case for me was apathy. I got so sick of waiting and delays that I lost all enthusiasm. Ill probably still get one down the road, but Im waiting on next gen 4Runner. The roof is what made the Bronco appealing to me and I feel like it is more trouble than they are worth at this point.
Simple solution for tops is just make all orders soft tops. I get it, financially youre saving money doing MIC and going aftermarket soft.
That said, seems to me if they are already built, why would Ford save them to “save money on warranty issues”? How would they save money if theyre already...
Clearly Webasto is making money or they wouldnt be doing it. As for 60-80% wanting a hard top (myself included), Id guess most would change in a heartbeat if it meant getting a too thats not falling apart on the truck during delivery. What good is a top that will need replaced in a year?
I know switching now wouldnt be possible, but cancel the contract with Webasto. Why are they still making money on this deal? Id settle for soft top and Id bet most people would if it meant sh-t canning Webasto
Ford better PRAY that Toyota doesnt redesign the 4Runner anytime soon. Id jump ship in a minute if it has a removable roof because this is beyond annoying. If Webasto cant deliver, dump em. Im willing to spend 50K on a vehicle I really dont need with the main reason being a removable top. No...
So Ill ask this unpopular question, how does the dealer have one to mark up $5000 when people are waiting on orders due to “shortages”? First they push friends to the front of the line and now dealers are getting these? And its not JUST this dealer, I know if at least two others.
