Great commercial. Itās been said on the forum many times that most of the people that have Broncos probably donāt need all of the advanced off road stuff, big tires, etc. I agree, and think the 1 G Broncos would fit the bill perfectly well with maybe some of the modern safety...
A drop down tailgate instead of the swing gate. Iād actually prefer framed windows on the doors as well, especially if they eliminated the window rattle.
Well, I havenāt had it off in a while as we had a wet fall, long winter with a ton of snow, and we are just getting to decent top off weather. I think the longest Iāve ever stored it hanging was about a week. Iāve had no problems, but canāt say how it would be for longer term storage.
I had a break there too. It was technically my fault as we were not exactly graceful in putting the top back on. However, this is definitely a poor design and should be stronger knowing that these tops are meant to be taken off and put back on.
I broke one of the pins on my first Bronco that I bought as an abandoned order (MIC 1.0). We were struggling a little getting the top on. Definitely a weak spot though. I have a hoist set up now for the Bronco that I originally ordered and got in May, and it is easier to line things up, but...
I am lucky. This is my second Bronco-the BD I reserved early day two. I had a sliver BD that was an abandoned order, for which I paid some ADM. I was able to drive that one for eight months, 5000 miles, then trade straight across for this one. I love it.
Black Diamond 2.3 manual with no mods, roof rack, 5000 on the odometer, run 91 fuel. Mostly short trips <3 miles in town, some medium 10-20 mile forest/ off road trips, and a 100-200 mile road trip thrown in once or twice a month. 17.9 mpg average overall.
Got my line picture a couple days ago. Delivery supposed to be 4/19-4/25. I reserved 7/14/20, and got bumped to this ā22. Been driving a silver one that was abandoned since August and I paid some ADM. Dealer will let me trade straight across, which I feel pretty good about.
I live at 7000ā and feel like my 2 door 2.3 with a manual is pretty strong. Iāve had it at sea level and did not notice much, if any difference. Iām sure thereās a difference technically, but I couldnāt really tell.
Having my Bronco, I would say no. I like 4Runner reliability and itās capable enough for me, but I have always wanted a removable hard top. Test driving the Jeep convinced me that I didnāt want one, although I do like the concept of the Gladiator. The Bronco is the right mix of handling...
I think I may have encountered this too, but itās only happened a couple of times, so I figured I was just bumping the turn signal somehow. Now Iām going to have to see if I can make it happen again.
Iāve got a two door BD 2.3 manual. Non -squatch. Iām not disappointed. It suits my needs. It gets me to isolated camping spots, to the mountain for snowboarding when itās storming, and my favorite mountain biking/ hiking trails. Iād consider squatch if I were a serious off roader, but honestly...
