Turns out the culprit was the struts. The heads of the struts screw on & off and all of mine were loose. Problem solved!

No roof rack for me. I'm pretty sure it's the struts/brackets.

It's really just a winter complaint. I try to avoid letting the salt/magnesium chloride mix from the roads sit on the wrap for an extended period to prevent discoloration and degradation.
