    Having extra lights to use during a strong snowstorm has saved my butt several times over the past few winters. I would consider extra lights (fogs) a necessity for winter driving in the bronco.

    Seems low. Did you have strong headwinds on the "lighter" trip? Mine will average 18-20 mpg on road trips with two people and some luggage.
