  2. Coggin Ford dealership oil change disaster

Agree 100%. Not criticizing the OP but I donā€™t trust mechanics I donā€™t know. Warranty service is different, but not for any service that I can do myself. Heck, I went to my trusted shop for an alignment after adding more lift a few weeks ago and they (the owner!) didnā€™t tighten the front lower...
  3. New Gear Ratios NOW AVAILABLE! Ford Performance M220 Rear Axle Assemblies!

I agree. I think that design could maybe help some. The shock brackets are still crap though. Nothing compared to the axle brackets on my TJ although I had installed a Tera60 (high clearance Dana 60).
  4. New Gear Ratios NOW AVAILABLE! Ford Performance M220 Rear Axle Assemblies!

Thanks. Theyā€™re a good shop. Sorry to hear about your axle housing. Am keeping an eye on mine. Might just decide to get it welded up before too long.
  5. New Gear Ratios NOW AVAILABLE! Ford Performance M220 Rear Axle Assemblies!

Thanks! Was expensive fix but worth it. I was following BigMeats post below and this was perfect opportunity to move mounting position up ~1.5ā€, which gave me 1.5ā€ rear lift to boot. Then I added 1ā€ more lift to the front with my new Bilsteins (6100). Still need to swap rear shocks...
  6. New Gear Ratios NOW AVAILABLE! Ford Performance M220 Rear Axle Assemblies!

Itā€™s a simple story. On local intermediate trail I hit a rock on rear shock skid (JCR) and bent the hell out of the mounts. I was able to straighten the outer mount but not the inner. Local shop fabricated and installed new beefy gusseted 1/4ā€ steel brackets based on the Barnes set I brought to...
  7. New Gear Ratios NOW AVAILABLE! Ford Performance M220 Rear Axle Assemblies!

Hopefully they beefed up the thin crappy non-boxed lower shock mounts so they donā€™t bend easily with mild off-roading.
  8. Why don’t people like the OEM tires/wheels?

Unless you get SAS, the tires are too small for serious off-roading. Need bigger and tougher tires, and new wheels to fit the tires. For wheels I think the Sasquatch and Badlands wheels are ok but many aftermarket wheels are much nicer.
  9. Check this NOW if you have a 2021 Bronco -- cracks on rear control arm upper brackets

Early 2021 (July 2021 build) and not boxed. Stock arms. No apparent cracks.
  10. Addressing Rear Brake Line and Wheel Sensor Slack

Awesome ok, thank you! Just added 1.5ā€ additional lift and figured I might need this now.
  11. Addressing Rear Brake Line and Wheel Sensor Slack

@kodiakisland - Do you happen to have the part number for the RC product? Iā€™ve searched RC website and canā€™t seem to find any sort of rear brake extension sold separately. Thanks!
  12. Why do Bronco owners drive so slow?

Because Iā€™m in no rush, I plan plenty of time, and safety is always first. I go the speed limit or a few over ā€¦ unless itā€™s a 70 mph limit ā€¦ then I go 5 under.
  13. DONE! I have re-drilled rear shock mount 2” higher, =more clearance and 2” lift.

Nice šŸ‘ Howā€™d it go? Do you have pics or additional suggestions. Iā€™ll be doing this very soon.
  14. Hard top rippled / cracking!

That option structure for 2dr vs 4dr still perplexed me to this day!
  15. Hard top rippled / cracking!

Not to be cruel but Iā€™ve had my Bronco over 2 years and I still think often how thankful I am that I removed the hard top option in time.
  16. Fast Intentions Axle-Back Exhaust Installed

Looks brand new still but Iā€™m retired and donā€™t put on many miles, and other than off-roading a few times I donā€™t drive it in crappy weather šŸ˜€
  17. Fast Intentions Axle-Back Exhaust Installed

Installed mine over a year ago. Like it quite a bit.
  18. The moment you realized you should’ve gone with cloth seats

I love my MGV. Not hot and no regrets. I do use a reflective sunshade though and I have mild (30%) tint on front side windows.
