They are usually 2-3 gallons. But yes. Itās a lot. And i only ran them full when needed. I run my heaviest tank on the hinge side so itās not on the outside putting more stress in the door and hinges.
They made it through some jumps, 60+ mph in the dessert, and rock crawling. I was worried...
Some basic cheap film, but:
20% on door windows (mine is a base so it didnāt have tint -matches OEM soft top pretty good)
35% on the entire windshield.
I love it. Wouldnāt change a thing.
This first pic, the front windows are down. You can definitely tell the windshield is tinted with the top...
The descent from bronco knoll was the toughest section of trail that i did. All of the Colorado passes were easy in my book. I did 95% of everything in 2wd. Sometimes i used the rear locker in 2wd, but itās impressive what it will do without even using 4wd.
You should be fine!
Love the grey! We always buy white/silver/grey/black cars....this time I chose the blue Bronco, and my wife chose the green Hellcat, lol. We both stepped out of our "norm" on these, lol. Not going to lie, I prefer the bronco over the hellcat, usually. It's just more enjoyable to drive down here...
Thank you. I really appreciate that.
Iām using an iPhone 12 Pro. Itās been awesome for photos. It doesnāt have a great zoom, but it does awesome Daytime and low light photos if you have a steady hand!
I actually camped in mine. Picked up an iceco fridge, made a rear platform that makes the seats even with the cargo area, which also created storage area for my table and some of my gear. Used an Exped lxw sleeping mat. It was awesome. Slept great. Had plenty of room.
I encourage everyone to get out and use their Broncoās! There is too much cool stuff in this country to just sit at home.
Just a few more pics from my road trip out west.
I had a chip that was definitely going to spread. I fixed it at my in-laws on a Sunday before the last 1100 mile drive home. Ended up with only 2 rock chips on that 6k miles road trip. Lol.
I ran 18psi on the more difficult trails. Those tires have a weak sidewall. Probably wouldnāt go much lower.
No issues at all during the trip. The front pinion seal started leaking when i got home. Covered under warranty, even with the undercarriage damage and mud present. Lol.
One year follow up! Iāve owned my 2021 Base Sasquatch 4 door with a 2.7 for 1 year, to the day, and just rolled 20k miles on Monday. Bought it from Laura Ford in Sullivan, MO. Road tripped to Colorado, Moved to Florida (towed an overloaded enclosed trailer 1,100 miles from MO to FL), driven...
Iāll vouch for Asfirā¦.I got my skids in 1 week from the time i orderedā¦.Iāve been waiting 3 months for some other bronco parts being built in the states. Lol.
