LOL, I took a $15k loss when I traded in our 22 JLU Rubicon on our 23 Bronco in Jan. We love the Bronco and have been flat towing it with no issues at all, I would never go back to the Jeep.
We got this letter also. I already had Ford replace the front plastic bash plate but it sounds like this letter also refers to another cover under the engine that should be metal. Ours is plastic now. Does anyone know what pieces this letter covers?
That's not good, the tank on the 4 door really hangs down low. Trouble waiting to happen. I wonder if there are any aftermarket skid plates that are reasonably priced?
I just got (our 23 OBX with Mod bumper) back from my dealer where it was getting the steel bash plate installed in place of the plastic one it came with. They replaced it no questions asked.

I just made an appointment with my dealer this morning. They are ordering the steel plate and have me scheduled to bring it in on the 6th to have it installed. I told them I could install it but they say they need to because of the Mis-build claim.
Ford needs to make a Bronco that can really compete with the Jeep Wrangler. The only way they will do that is with a solid front axle, 5.0 Coyote, and a removable top. A new Bronco that is nothing but another crossover SUV won't do it.
