I've got a similar issue. Yesterday was extremely windy in Central Ohio. As I was driving, I noticed the drivers-side window (I have a 2-door) had literally "blown out" of the track so there was a large gap between the frame and the window. If I stopped and opened and closed the door, it...
I have a BL 2.3 MT 2-door. I'm 65 and have driven MTs my entire life. I really like it. I didn't buy this vehicle to drag race, but it performs just fine. The clutch is close to perfect. I agree that 1st gear is the weakest part of the setup, but it's still okay. Overall my only real complaint...
Was able to figure out that the electrical connector in the door was not actually secure--it was connected, but not "locked in." Once I snapped it in place, everything was fine. I suspect this was a factory issue, as I've never had the doors off. But thanks for stepping in.
Thanks much Was trying to avoid a trip to dealer but that seems unlikely. I'm also getting "No Key Fob Detected" messages so at least I've got 2 things for them to deal with. Thanks.
I have a 2021 2-door BL (2.3 MT) that has about 600 miles on it. This morning I noticed a lot of wind noise on passenger side. Turns out passenger-side window is stuck in slightly retracted position. It won't raise or lower. I tried holding window bottom in both up and down positions for...
I had a Day 2 reservation and took delivery of my Bronco in Columbus, OH in January. I was recently in St. Croix (USVI) and was pretty amazed to see 10 Broncos on the lot at the local Ford dealer. Included a mix of 2-doors and 4-doors. I think all the 2-doors were base models, while there was...
If Ford owned the cars, they wouldn’t need a security interest, and they could dictate prices. They don’t, so they take a security interest, and dealers are free to price vehicles as they see fit.
Nope. The dealer takes a Certificate of Origin, which transfers ownership from the manufacturer to the dealer. Transfer from the dealer to the consumer is typically done through a Certificate of Title. Floorplan financing is just that--financing. The dealer still owns the car--the...
Sorry. I'm a capitalist. Dealers own the cars and can sell them for whatever they want. Obviously this doesn't mean they can breach promises they've made to customers. But their stock is their own and they can price it however they want. If Ford doesn't like it, they can sell direct to...
Totally understand. This is the first time I've ever bought an extended warranty. I was on the fence. But $900 for 5 years of additional protection against major engine and/or electronic issues seemed like a decent investment. Hard to imagine I won't have any significant claims in years 4-8...
I plan on keeping my Bronco a long time but don't plan on driving it a lot, so I bought the Flood Ford 8-year, 48,000 mile Ford Premium ESP ($50 deductible) last week. It cost me $930. By the way, my dealer in Columbus, OH said, "If you can get it for that, buy it. I can't touch that price."
