Well I'm going somewhere in the middle. It got running perfect today, gets 4 wheel disk conversion tomorrow. Next week new suspension and cage start. Then I have to pick rims and 35's.
My engine was done up by me and some friends back in the 80's. Only has 10,000 miles on it and way more power than stock so we will see if it's still good .
So an update.. I have my 72 going into the shop Monday to get back running with new fuel tanks and lines and new power 4 wheel disks. Then off to another shop for the new 3 1/2" high travel with bilstein shocks lift and new full cage and rear bumper with swing out spare carrier. Just need to...
I ordered it but hope I don't regret it. 1st time I heard from my dealer was a text saying I had just over 2 hours to get my order in. 🤣🤣🤣. I kinda panicked.
I want the 22 for 2 reasons. My 72 is a one owner my dad ordered with us having the same name plus its going to be $20 to $$25 grand this year to finish the 72 and I can do both.
I need help guys. You already talked me into keeping my 72. Now I'm $7000 in parts only in with 4 wheel disks and new suspension plus more. I want a 2022. What options do I pick to push myself out to 22. I'm going badlands 4 door lux in area 51 unless a good green comes in 22. ?
Learned when i was 12 in a mustang 2, 40 years ago. My 72 is a 3 speed. Dad has a 4 door jeep with a stick. Getting the 2.7 so i guess its auto for me.
