  1. Even a noob can wire something - installed 5" inch KC lights

I recently installed the light bar you referenced, just need to figure out the wiring/relays situation. Z Road Z sells a mounting bracket for this light bar. The lights sit a bit higher than what I was expecting, but still look good. I'll also need to buy some external locking washers for the...
  2. Anyone Else Having Key Problems With Their 2021 Bronco ?

I've had this happen several times, with key in hand, while sitting in the driver's seat. It usually took several tries of the start button before detecting the fob, but no more than a 10 or 15 second delay.
  3. Finally got some old school safari style roof lights mounted

Hi Sam - I wired all of the KC Apollo lights together (I actually wired the 2 spotlights together to run on a separate aux switch), but wanted to know if you had to increase the size of the wire from the powered aux wire to the KC-provided relays. Thanks!
  4. WHERE'S MY COOLANT GOING

I took delivery of my 2.7 the week before Christmas and noticed the level was about an inch below the min level. I had the dealership check it, and was told it was at the proper level when pressurized. I also had it checked last week at 3500 miles when I had the oil changed at a different Ford...
  5. Ford Tonneau Cover Doesn't Fit

Maybe it's user error, but I tried in vain to install the Ford tonneau cover this past weekend. I was able to install/secure one side, but came up almost three inches short of reaching the bolt holes on the other side. The zippers for securing the cover around the roll bar were unzipped, and...
  6. Finally got some old school safari style roof lights mounted

That was my concern, too. I noticed that the amp draw for all 6 halogens is about 50 amps. I thought the max amperage aux 1 switch could handle was 30 or 35. Is this where the relays on the KC harnesses come into play?
  7. Finally got some old school safari style roof lights mounted

I just ordered the Apollo halogen KC lights and lightbar. Can you tell me if the lights are connected by wiring harnesses, or will splicing be required? I'm planning on wiring the lights to the pre-run wiring near the visor for the aux switch. Thanks!
  8. đź›  11/15/21 build week group

I also spotted the dent in my hood, as well as issues with the MIC 2.0 top, the day I picked up my Bronco. Rather than releasing the panel bond and PDR, the dealership decided to file warranty claims on the dent and top. I should mention that the OBX fender flares all had dark spots beneath the...
  9. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

Same here; issues with lack of floor heat to both the front and back. Going in this week for inspection, will let the forum know what comes of it.
  10. Drivers side door airbag cover not seated properly

Similar issue, except that it's my A-pillar airbag cover that won't seat properly. It's going to service tomorrow to have this and a couple other items addressed (dent on hood from excessive panel bond, popping roof panels, snakeskinning).
  11. What’s in your garage???

Five stock OBX tires for sale are in my garage...any takers?
  12. Door Window Recalibrate?

Roll the window down and hold the button down for 5 additional seconds. Roll it back up and hold the button in the up position for 5 additional seconds. This should reset the window to factory.
  13. Anyone have a car seat in their 4door Bronco?

Below is the link to a YouTube video of "The Car Mom" review of the Bronco, including a discussion on carseats:

  15. Bronco Step-Over Door Inserts Interest Thread

I've been considering Ford's tube doors, but prefer the look of the step-over/half door. Jamb inserts are also a must if going doorless. I recently picked up my 4-door OBX, so let me know if you need a beta tester!
  16. Anyone placed BF Goodrich Ko2 tires on OuterBanks?

I paid a bit over $1,600 for all 5 tires, install, balance, and whatever the Dobbs warranty covers. I believe each tire was $303, but you may find them cheaper elsewhere. If you're in the market for new tires, I read on this forum that tire prices will be skyrocketing in the next few weeks.
  17. Hello from IL (or really St. Louis area)

Welcome to the forum! I'm also from Southern IL (Belleville), but usually stick with the "St. Louis area" line when asked where I'm from! I just picked up my OBX a couple weeks ago and found tons of useful information on this forum as I awaited its arrival (17 months from reservation to...
  18. Anyone placed BF Goodrich Ko2 tires on OuterBanks?

I recently swapped the stock tires with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT 275/70R18 and couldn’t be more pleased with the look and ride. Very quiet for E Load tires.
