I'm stopping in Grand Junction the night of the 27th and hitting CO National Monument the morning of the 28th and heading to moab that afternoon. I'll probably do a short hike when I get in, possibly Corona Arch. Is RMNP pretty accessible this time of year? Thought about stopping there on my way...
I'll be there 28th through 1st. The only thing I know I'm driving is the back way into Arches. Easy trail but you don't have to get a timed reservation that way.
I drove I-70 across Kansas coming back from Moab last April. 50 mph crosswinds. My 2 door handled just fine, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned the frameless windows rattling in high wind. The wind must've caught the seals just right and was able to enter the cab which caused the windows to...
Just did about 3000 miles round trip to Moab and back in April. Cargo space was adequate. Seats were comfortable. Fuel range sucked but I knew that going into it. The frameless windows were a problem driving across Kansas. 60ish mph crosswinds were getting between the seals and window causing...
I drove up Shafer into Canyonlands the week before followed by Gemini Bridges back into town. Loved Shafer! Great views and an easy drive I'll always want to do!
I'm in Moab right now. I was at Canyonlands NP today. It was about 50° and started snowing. I'm staying in a tent furnished with an electric space heater and have stayed reasonably warm sleeping in sweatpants and sweatshirt.
I have a carport and a work vehicle that I'm allowed to drive for personal reasons. The front panels and doors will remain off. I'll drive the work truck if it rains. I'm also leaving the clamshell on as it's cracked (Closest dealer said no on warranty), so Ford can't say it came from dropping...
Then, they shouldn't have installed the intercooler. It's on the vehicle owner to understand that aftermarket parts sometimes don't work well with factory systems. Anyway, if a driver isn't alert enough to realize ACC isn't working, they shouldn't be driving.
I read somewhere on here that factory fill is 7.5 qts, but about a quart stays in after draining. That's why Ford states 6 quarts.
Also, I could be completely wrong and dreamed this up lol
I'll be in Moab next month. Any difficult obstacles on that trail? I've read so many different things about it online that I don't know what to believe.
