Mine is completely different even with backdoor link for some reason. Also donāt know why itās showing āordering with dealerā when I renewed my order in the fall. What a crap shootā¦.
Looks great! I didnt consider keeping the OEM Squatch tires but it makes sense if I'm going with an aftermarket 17x9 wheel.
Based on the pics it looks like the wheel is flush with the flares or maybe just a cm beyond with the 0 offset, is that what it is in person?
Also on the build and...
Iām actually having the exact dilemma. Prob go WT and order painted fenders, another option is going with OBX and saving 5K (without squatch) and doing the 4WP coil overs and wheels I actually want. All in all, first world problems right?!
Anybody try to contact dealer about going with softtop given āhookupsā that were specified in recent email with September production? Reportedly itās not even an option with Wildtrak. š
If having the hookups with soft top was an option I wouldnāt have postponed my order....and I was first day reservation! The only solace I hold onto is them working out the bugs and maybe offering painted mid top option as well as boxwood green. šŖš¼
coded 99 = what exactly?
I placed my order with dealer today and they said it was coded 99 but still allowed order to put out through (said it was likely due to preference for painted black top, although this is ālate availabilityā per Ford). I have July 14 reservation....but I guess we will...
it can be a tough decision. Yet I donāt want my truck revs sounding puny, yeah I know V6 isnāt a V8 but itās better IMO. I did drive the Ranger with 2.3L and it was no slouch but the engine sounds left something to be desired.
itās been reported that badlands and Sasquatch suspension is the same, just that the Sasquatch includes bump stops. So if thatās true, very minimal difference which I would think doesnāt warrant $2500, but obviously the 35ā rubber is included in that.
Itās definitely a dilemma for me to decide between squatch or non-squatch on the badlands. I think itās easier for some to squatch when they are going with a different trim other than badlands due to a different base suspension. I donāt care for the 17ā beadlock capable wheels to be honest and...
Yeah weāll see if the spring/summer deliveries will happen. Doesnāt really matter to me, but Iām sure some people will be pissed to get a ā21 if delivery happened in December.
Anybody heard anything more about special editions that are to be released in MY22? There was some mention about a heritage model. Anyone guess what this could be comprised of? Maybe a Filson edition?
There seems to be so much on the horizon in terms of options and special editions that...
I agree, interior options are ugly for the WT. If they option black interior or vinyl I will likely go for the WT. If not, can't pull the trigger on looking at that interior everyday (especially in a 50K+ vehicle) and will do Badlands. Can't get past the MIC top either, waiting for the black...
Reportedly, per the last Q+A session with Esteban, in May 2021 you will be able to see how long a specific option (i.e. black painted top) will push out your delivery date. At that time, you can make a decision to wait or eliminate that particular option.
