absolutely cloth seats are the so good in AZ. It's just I wasn't impressed with THESE cloth seats. They just looked too cheap and ugly--possibly get beat up quickly? YMMV. But as I said, they felt great, nice seat design.

Stopped in at Eranhardt Ford today. They FINALLY have a demo--an Area 51 Wildtrak, cloths seats looks like mid package, soft top, Wasnt a big fan of the cloth seats, but they were very comfortable. Seating in the cabin a very different experience than my old FJ== alot more room, optionality...

How do you know it is usual? There was nothing in any correspondence form Ford or the delaer that this was required to convert a reservation to an order that I am aware of. Can you point me to how I can validate that? Thanks!

I only placed $100 for the reservation with Ford directly. It was converted to an order by my delaer FREE--I did NOT have to pay $400. Maybe the OP's dealer is taking the lad for a ride by making him pay an upfront delaer fee of $500?

Well-said! I'm likely in the same group as you. Which I a. MIND because I need the vehicle ASAP, but also b. DON'T MIND so Ford can work out the inevitable issues.

Good point, didn't think about that. I had a high bullbar on my FJ that was very effective in shedding walkers. Why does Ford offer the low brush guard if not effective?

The car top should be the engineering and supply chain management you give to rookies and fresh fish new hires. China can build 100 floor skyscraper in three months. Ford can't figure out or scale a simple polymer, molded top in 2 years??? It's not like they are creating a new polymer...

Expectations are so high for this Bronco. Anecdotal does often trump empirical in the beginning. If it totally sucks, I won't hesitate to dump it, rather than throw thousands of $$$ into customizing a dud truck just because I want to like it. Bad sound system on the B&O top package, that rat...
