I agree about 4x4led...great harness... I just did the same yesterday on veterans day as my wife made sure the kiddos left me alone for a day of piece...weather packs are the way to go, love them now that I know how to properly make them.....

try to bend it flush with the skid plate and see if the sensor still reads it.. I think it will be plenty readable with that angle....and all you'll need to do is bend them all...then make one with a bracket like a 74 tailgate plate has.. so you can flip it up if the police has an issue with it...

Can you bend mine out to be flat with the skid plate? instead of hanging down? I'm worried if I try to bend it after powdercoat it will crack... i think if someone can come up with one with a hinge like the early broncos had on the tailgate. would be pretty sweet.. you could flip it down flush...

yea no pre outs.. If you have b and o then you need to get something called a zen module. Audio Interface - ZEN-A2B - NAV-TV (navtv.com) this is the the best interface to get clean level sound from the factory head unit so you can properly add amps. I did this for my expedition and it sounds...

This is also used for programming of the remote.. if you have 2 remotes then you can program a 3rd and 4th one that you get from ebay for 1/3 the cost of one from the dealership..fyi
