  1. Bronco humor thread

    I just canā€™t unsee this.
  2. 2021 Bronco (U725) Production Headlight Photo

Iā€™m really liking where this is going. BTW, the banner reflected in the headlight appears the be an ISO 14001 certification from ASR. Some kind of environmental management certification? Probably doesnā€™t matter.
  3. Tesla Cybertruck

It may actually look better than the new Silverado HD.
  4. Bronco R Race Prototype Revealed for Baja 1000!

Thanks for the feedback. The front wheel arches need turned down a notch. And the front suspension needed to suck up a bit. I messed with the c shaped headlights and just couldnā€™t make it work. Iā€™m partial to the round style and sticking with early Bronco styling cues. If I squint a bit and...
  5. Bronco R Race Prototype Revealed for Baja 1000!

I have nothing to contribute on the front suspension. Just playing around with the Bronco R pictures this evening.
  6. Ford Bronco patent for removable roll cage!?

Thanks! It's the original wind blue.
  7. Ford Bronco patent for removable roll cage!?

I keep the top off my ā€˜74 through the summer. Also, couldnā€™t help but drape the patent figure over the 4 door Maxlider.
  8. Ford Bronco patent for removable roll cage!?

Iā€™m curious about the body in this patent rendering. It doesnā€™t look like something existing. So what if it is a tip of the cards? Those look like small wheel arches in the back. And what are the things at the bottoms of the a pillars?
  9. Electronics; how much is too much?

Too far: USB outlets on the ball of the trailer hitch Wi-Fi enabled mud flaps Solar cells on the driveline to charge the powered easy on/off lug nuts Otherwise offer it with standard features and a wide range of options that make it safe, reliable, durable, efficient, and competitive and able...
  10. What are some small, nit-picky things you want done right with the Bronco?

The ability to hit all of the exterior and interior with a garden hose without the fear of damaging anything.
  11. Spied: Nude "Small Rugged Off Road Utility" aka Bronco Maverick?

I'm hoping after they took the photo they put a usable spare on the back.
  12. INEOS Grenadier

They have an ugly mule too.
  13. INEOS Grenadier

The other thing I like about this is it indicates market demand and momentum towards a durable, purpose built off road utility vehicle where function is the priority. More competitors in this market should provide us with a nice range of choices, options, and after-market for truly off-road...
  14. INEOS Grenadier

https://ineosgrenadier.com/ "A ladder chassis. Permanent four-wheel drive. Beam axles. Class-leading towing and payload capacity, with power and torque to match. Wrapped in a stripped back, boxy 4x4 body." I am excited to see where this goes and if it makes it to the US. Doubtful considering...
  15. Let's get the rumor mill fired up!

It would be really cool if Rivian sold or licensed their skateboard platform and control systems to allow custom coach work or garage built mashups like Dodge Power Wagon to be more than fiction.
  16. Let's get the rumor mill fired up!

Coming soon...if they license out skateboard platform...and someone like Icon does the development and engineering...as a 2023 7/15 middle-ish year model.
  17. Let's get the rumor mill fired up!

I heard on the internets the Rivibaker Amp was going to be on the lots as a 2020 1/2 model.
  18. Ugly Test Mule

I keep the top off my ā€˜74 for half the year. Itā€™s a pain in the ass to remove and install. I would hope removing the new Bronco top is easier and more configurable than the previous generations.
  19. Ugly Test Mule

Thanks for sharing. That 2 door mule perspective is useful for a competitive comparison.
