It's certainly more money but I don't see how you get to $70k. What specific Badlands-type option boxes are you checking on a Defender 90 to get that high?
Everyone seems to act like the New Defender is a $70,000 rig. You can spec the 2-door New Defender 90 with a 4-cyl, steel wheels, and cloth interior for mid $40s.
I think resale value will be key, too. Nearly everyone I know with a JK or JL Wrangler raves about its resale value. It seems the Bronco will enjoy strong resale value -- but the Defender? Probably not.
I'm not a fan of the 4-door 110 model but the 2-door 90 model (which hasn't yet released) looks very sharp and muscular. I am cross-shopping the two -- strongly leaning towards the Bronco. The hangup is how well the lower trim Defender 90s feel and how much under MSRP I'd be able to get one for...
