    Georgia Bronco

welcome to the neighborhood @PRA4SNW ! I'm up in the Paulding County side of Acworth. I agree with @MadMan4BamaNATL and drives into the GA mountains.
  2. Badlands Sasquatch has terrible MPG

My experience exactly... go above 70... the Bronco gets very thirsty! Then I have to start looking for Buccee's much sooner :)
  3. Folding Tailgate Table w/ built-in PACKOUT mount by Foutz Motorsport

True... but I already use Packouts in various configurations when I head out in my Bronco.... so needless to say, there is a bit of rattling and noise already. It's a work in progress.
  4. Folding Tailgate Table w/ built-in PACKOUT mount by Foutz Motorsport

I love this idea... Although I have a tailgate table already, I'm inspired to leverage ways to incorporate my Packout boxes. This is a great way of combing two very useful resources.
  5. Hard top panel wall hanger - DIY video

Very nice... a clean simple solution that is highly functional! Well done.

    Georgia Bronco

I wasn't tracking... now I am. I'll probably be in a "drop-in for an hour or 2" mode. Lots going on around the house, so not able to do any trail riding, but definitely want to get out and enjoy what we can for the event.
  7. HOT PEPPER RED Bronco Club

It's a little bit dirty... but this is from our recent trip to Colorado... heading towards Durango.
  8. Just back from Colorado off-road tour. 7 trails completed

Great pics... So great to get off the beaten path and enjoy the road less travelled. We just returned (yesterday) from a week-long trip through Colorado and NM. We too were in the Ouray area (stayed in Ridgway), did some mile off-roading to include Last Dollar Road to Telluride. The sights...
  9. DIY Tonneau Cover

    nicely done!
  10. Using a relay to allow for greater factory aux switch flexibility.

I was literally about to the same thing, that is leverage the included relays on the wiring harnesses for the pod lights I've purchased. I decided, at least for this set of lights, that I'll use the Aux switches to cut the harness and go straight to the Aux switches. Primary reason, there is...

@MadMan4BamaNATL We often wind up going in or around Elijay whenever we venture out. And I just became aware of the Elijay Bacon Fest and are making plans to be up there on that Sunday. :-) And as you mentioned, once you get out of town, and find those spots to enjoy, it's all worth it!
  12. Just removed hard top for 20th time. Observations & tips

That's what I did... I seemed to keep "tapping" the window regardless of how careful I was both removing and installing the factory bolts. We also added a hoist for both easy on/off and storage.

    Georgia Bronco

Congrats and welcome @Slcdad9. Lots of great info already provided and like mentioned, I've used the Bronco Trail App, OnX and some others to find some easy trails / roads around Ga. Easy drive up to Lake Conasauga was an easy drive through the mountains with the bonus of a hike around the...

@kevin.gt Adding this to my weekend plans.
  15. I need mud flaps, whats everyone using?

I went with Weathertech. They are functional, but I can’t say I like the way they look. At just over $100 they are an economical solution.
  16. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I saw this top installed on a Bronco while at Super Celebration last week. It's a great fit and looks good with the 4-door. If only the MIC was truly black... but that's a topic for another discussion. Bottom line, after seeing the Skyrider top in person, it's a definite yes on the list of...
  17. DON'T SMASH YOUR TAILLIGHT

I saw this at Bronco Super Celebration East this past week, and like you didn't realize I "needed" this thing until I saw it demonstrated. :)

It’s a really nice trip. Been up to Cashes Valley a few times. Even had a picnic in the parking area near the cemetery.
  19. Recovery gear deep dive: shackles, straps and kinetic ropes, what to buy!

Greatly appreciate your insights and perspective. Your perspective on breaking rope, strap and/or shackles instead of my (or someone else's) Bronco has made me pause and say, "hmmmm". I need to revisit my recovery gear as I may be "oversized" in my tow straps and soft shackles.
