Thank you for posting this. Had this issue just happen, and even though I work at a dealership, I wasn't looking forward to being told they'd try and look at it in 3 weeks. This fix did the trick!
Forgive me if this was already covered, a quick search didn't get me anywhere.
After upgrading to 35's, my spare is about a half inch too wide for my camera view. It throws off my 360 view and blocks part of my rear view. Anybody make a remedy for this? Maybe the O.E. Sasquatch backet?
Selling local, not looking to ship at the moment. Set of 5, w/tpms intact. Asking $1,750, would consider offers. Removed 2 days after taking delivery, maybe 200 miles if that.
Took delivery on my Bronco on Tuesday, had wheels and tires installed yesterday. Still haven't washed it yet, getting professionally done and ceramic next Thursday. Will post pics when done.
Got my "built" email this morning, I was one of the most tenured Dirt Mountain residents. 7/12 blend date. Hopefully I'll see it by the end of the month!
Unfortunately I still haven't found out if it's mine or not. I've got my zone rep (I'm a desk manager at a Ford store) trying to find out what the VIN is.
It might be mine. Can't tell if that's AMB or black.
Mine is AMB and should have roof rails. I could see them holding off on the roof rails until MIC 2.0 though...
I do have the key pad, 2.3 manual. Wish I could tell if it's manual or auto in the pics.
We've been collecting a $1,500 deposit, mainly because our reservation list is 4x our initial allocations. Not a single person has had an issue with paying it so far.
People will back out, no doubt. I've been doing all the ordering for my dealership, I can guarantee a few of the people I've ordered for will back out. From what I understand, at that point we're free to sell it to anyone. That's why Ford is giving a 20% buffer, life happens...
If you opt out of the advanced 4x4, you'll only have the option for 4H and 4L. You'll manually shift (with a dial). The advanced system introduces 4A, and the vehicle can automatically shift depending on the drive mode you select. 4A can be driven on any surface without damaging the drivetrain.
I can't vouch for how the Bronco will work, but on an F-150 you can put the dead fob in a special slot in the cupholder and the truck will communicate with it. At that point you can start the truck, etc.
Pressing the last two buttons on the keypad locks the doors, whether the key is in it or not. I have intelligent access on my F-150 and leave the key in it daily. Unlocking it is as simple as using the keypad or your FordPass app. Hope that helps!
