agreed. sent same message to my wife a few minutes ago when I saw this. white flares and chrome bumper would do the trick, and then it is exactly what I would want. told her we're selling her 4runner lol.
with the limited numbers, I think I'll just be converting a badsquatch down the road. I...
That is a great rendering to use for your vision, think many of us were originally looking for something similar, that paint scheme is great (I'd go diff colors, personally, but to each their own, but the pattern is great!)
that's not really true. his powertrain warranty would still be valid, and cutting rollbars does not necessarily total the vehicle. some of that is location dependant.
very nice. good to be seeing more broncos down here. saw two today, my office overlooks 10 in baton rouge.
if ya see a red/tan bullnose bronco around south louisiana, thats me and my daily! I opted for a new mach 1 instead of the new bronco though.
that ice chest is sweet.
Having same issues. Also getting the same about the car I have on order, the Mach 1. people asking why I ordered that ugly CUV looking electric thing (Mach E)
ford's marketing department has gone off the deep end. their communications are subpar. At this point I am finding it...
Monkey, I agree it is BS. I have a Mach 1 order at Granger though, good folks. Sorry to hear about getting screwed by Ford though with Granger doing what they can for their customers.
I have seen so so many folks who want a new bronco get jeeps instead this last year since they were told it...
hey, while at it, can you express the displeasure of those of us who ordered Mach 1s and they got cancelled after 5 months of being on order? wth Ford! and why haven't they relayed what they're doing for those of us (if anything) whose orders got cancelled and our reorders are at the back of...
it is not as bad for those of us who decided to forgo the bronco wait and order a mustang...but....
we aren't exactly getting our cars next day either. I just got told today my build date went from 03NOV to after Thanksgiving. Which means I get to tow a car home from Iowa around Christmas...
Have yet to see one. See sports all the time, they like to wave to me in my 86 bronco...
buddy at work has seen one on town. It is kinda weird we haven't, were we work we see Ferraris and Maserati's and a pagini and a number of C8s daily (one of them is highlighter yellow..can't miss that...
I am definitely glad that I am going to wait a couple years on it. wifes 4runner is paid off in about 2 years, so we'll replace then. if I like it enough, I'll spend the money on a 2dr toy to park along side the rest of the broncos and mustangs.
as far as I am aware, for customer order Mach 1s, they are not being 'allocated' either. Granger is by far the largest M1 dealer in the country. They've sold it looks like maybe 2%+ of the M1s in the country, maybe more.
@Zach@Granger are they restricting y'alls M1s?
well, of course they are not losing. What they are making is the delta between the 'invoice' minus discount and the 'invoice' minus holdback. maybe thats 500 per car/truck, maybe it is 10,000 per car/truck. But it is, as you said, less than the other dealers are making at even MSRP by a few...
I am not gonna read all 23 pages, but I will respond to the OPs point (and I do not hold a Bronco reservation, I ordered a Mach 1 from our most loveable and friendly dealer around here, @Zach@Granger , which is who @PowPow is bitching about.)
So, @PowPow , the reason everyone is pissed, is...
I mean, I don't FULLY blame Ford for the delays (ok, on the top issue...yeah....on relying on Chinese manufacturing of critical components...yeah....on bad communication....yeah....) But on the allocation change? W.T.F.F. IS THAT B.S. FORD?
@Zach@Granger We love ya man! I am doing my part to get your allocations up some. (do mustang sales help at all?) I am advising everyone that is looking at a new car to say 'screw the local dealers and their ADMs', buy from elsewhere if it makes financial sense, and I have been throwing...
