I told my dealer to cancel my order, and they explained that the need my name attached to it to actually get the vehicle. I told him specifically that I do not want my name on the order. Does anyone know if there is a number I can call to cancel my order directly through Ford?
@SEkevin They tow more than 2.5xās what the Bronco can and clearly you have not test driven one. They have a much better acceleration than the Bronco. I left my multiple test drives of the Bronco disappointed with the gitty-up but left my 1 test drive with a Defender very impressed. I wanted to...
Agreed. Itās this kind of shenanigans that led me to cancel my order this afternoon (with a day 1 reservation). I hated to do it, but Iām moving on at this point. Super bummed by it, but I canāt get what I want until 2023 anyways.
I WAS a Wildtrak order with tow package. I also got bumped. Going to test drive a 2022 Defender this Friday. Weāll see where that goes. I donāt anticipate reordering a Bronco but am sitting on itā¦ for now.
With the recent news on getting pushed to 22, Iām seriously thinking about going the Defender route. Iāll be spending quite a bit more, but Iām already getting buy-in from the family. Maybe Iām just bitter, so Iām gonna wait a while until the dust settles, but Iām definitely leaning that way...
Seems like wildtrak order holders are really getting shafted here, with first editions getting guaranteed and all other makes being able to switch to soft top.
Based on the FAQs, it looks like 2-door wildtrak are still expected to be made. Is this true? If so, are two-door MICs more of a problem then 4-door? Not sure why they would be focusing on 2-door if this wasnāt the case, unless itās just do to the fact that there are so many 4-door orders.
