I threw my flag away once they told me they still have no clue as to when the passenger side airbag fix will take place.
Going on 3 months mine has been sitting at the dealership.
This is garbage. Complete shit.
My rig was built on 8/2. Sat there 2 months awaiting a new top. Shipped to the dealership where I was informed of the recall. That was the 1st week of October.
But, due to an yesterday's announced airbag recall, I can't have it. To put salt in the wound, there's no time table I'm being given as to when it will be fixed.
This comes on the heels of it being on dirt mountain for 2 months.
Any others having this issue.
My wife has a 19 Wrangler. We put 35" Goodyear tires on it and a 2" lift kit. Looks great but is a little shaky.
That car is why I am going to wait it out the multiple delays in getting my Bronco.
Good luck. I ordered a soft top that's been stuck showing "In production" since 8/2. Was told yesterday it is waiting on a new top. I'm guessing it failed the QC check off the line.
Build date doesn't mean much. I got my 1st "scheduled for production" email on 4/22 with a 6/10 date.
Got my 2nd email on 5/15 with a 6/21 date.
3rd email on 5/18 with a 6/28 date.
No news until a F engineer looked it up and told me the super duper new date was 8/2.
Now, the tracker...
Same as most in here. Originally a mid-June build date that turned into August 2nd.
I can confirm my Bronco was built. I have a good friend that's an engineer at Ford that keeps me updated.
Hopefully the F tracker will update by the EOW.
A friend of mine is an engineer at Ford here in Louisville and as soon as the Bronco was set for reservations I immediately went to him.
He's a jeep owner, as am I, and he told me all the warts of the Jeep will be removed with the Bronco.
He had me at these two:
