I really only want a few options - big screen, heated seats/wheel, and the 4.7 axle (with a 2DR/stick).
To get these options, I'm looking at spending an absurd amount of money. Are these things that can be added after the fact, or are the harnesses different between the different trim levels?
I googled that and came across a bunch of sites saying that's the tranny in the Bronco. Is this not the case? It's all old info I found.
edit: Aah, I see what you're saying. The Bronco may have the 550Nm version, but another vehicle could have the 800Nm version. Gotcha.
A computer can get you from point A to B better than a human can, and can even avoid nasty off road trails in the process so you stay comfortable for the whole trip. So why on earth would you ever buy a Bronco instead of a Tesla?
At some point, it’s not about what’s “Better”. It’s about what’s...
Wait, WHAT?!
That's the sole interior option I have any interest in, and is a make-it-or-break-it option. If it's one of those "200+ aftermarket options" in a Ford catalogue, that's fine, but I had no idea I couldn't order the Bronco with it.
I have unchecked any box I could find for email notifications, but I'm still getting them. Any idea what's going on? I just want to get alerts on the site, not emails whenever someone responds to a thread I posted in.
edit: I think I figured it out. All the threads that I interacted with...
The problem is that there's nothing to move along TO. Sure, you have options, but the options suck.
You're handed a high-school cafeteria steak when what you want is a nice porterhouse. The porterhouse is an option, sure... But you can only get the porterhouse if you eat it on a plate made out...
If I end up with a Bronco, I'll end up with something similar to that. Swapping a shortblock is an evening's work. Swapping a turbo, fuel pump, injectors? About the same. Doubling your HP and Torque in a weekend sounds good to me!
Damnit. If it were in the 5s stock, I figured it could get into the 4.9 range with E85, turbo, pump, and such... I don't need much in the way of speed, but I DO want to be able to get away from a stoplight without a minivan crawling up my rear.
Like I said, I'm hopeful. But let's just say that if they took the 310HP engine from an STI and put it in a car that weighs half a ton more than the Impreza, I would NOT be impressed. At 4950lbs for a loaded 2 door 2.3L, a mere 120ftlbs of torque @ 2000RPM is... Well, disappointing. I've already...
The four-cylinder is one of the few things potentially keeping me from buying a Bronco. I want nice off-idle torque and power at any RPM. If I'm halfway through an intersection and suddenly realize that there's a car coming, I don't want to spend a full second or two waiting for the turbo to...
Do all Sync 4 vehicles have wireless AA / CarPlay? I didn't see it advertised in the High package for the Bronco and I figured they would have if it was available.
The new F-150 has a KILLER digital cluster. Anyone got any good shots from the reveal of the 2021 Bronco cluster? Are they using an all-digital display or going with the analogue tach/speedo and a little screen in between them?
