Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought. I'm not that old, but there was a time when I could wrench on my own car. Those days have long passed.
All the best.
First time up and down a legit mountain. I went ahead and engaged the One-pedal cruise control function in 4L going down Imogene Pass. I ranged between 2 and 7 mph depending on how rocky it was. From time to time, you can hear a little bit of squeaking that sounds just like squeaking brakes.
Is...
Thanks for the advice. You watch videos, but I'm smart enough to know it doesn't tell the full story. I'll try some of the easier trails in the area.
@kbutler1
Hey there folks. I'm totally new to off-roading. Got a 21 Wildtrak and planning a couple of days in Ouray, Colorado. Would someone offer some advice on the following questions?
1. Is Imogene Pass a good first trail to take?
2. Is it worth buying a air pump to deflate my tires?
3. Anything else I...
Sorry for your loss. Truly. BUT WHAT? A RAPTOR AT MSRP!!!! A BRONCO RAPTOR???? I just checked with two dealerships, one will put me on a waiting list for $1,000 deposit, but I have to agree to pay $25,000 OVER MSRP. The other wanted $20,000 over MSRP.
All the best.
$25,000 OVER MSRP? Dealer where I bought my Wildtrak is offering a $1,000 waiting list for the Raptor, but you have to agree to pay $25,000-$30,000 over MSRP.
I'm not totally surprised, but that is insane. Is there no way to get one at MSRP, or at least a bit less?
My Bronco came home last week Monday. So far so good. Excellent ride considering it's off-road prowess. Only had it on a one-lane rutted dirt road so far. So, lots to explore in the coming months.
So what's up with the FordPass Performance app that was supposed to have all the trail maps on it? Is it a delayed release? I can't find it on the App Store. @annieVonBebop
My Bronco arrived. First truly off-road capable vehicle I've ever owned. I know nothing about off-road trails in Colorado save Youtube.
Can someone recommend some easy to moderate day trip trails in the Foothills? Just want to get the tires dirty and get a better feel for handling this Bronco.
>>>>>UPDATE: Dealer says I'm one of the first 8 units in production (from their order list). They just received a demo unit today that went into production June 13. So, if that timeline is average, then I assume my Bronco order should be in transit in a couple weeks. I guess a little under 5...
Just to follow up, I was fortunate enough to get my order built for June 21st. if you've been keeping up with the latest, it appears orders are heavily effected by parts availability. So, if your build includes an item that will not been stock, the computer skips over you and goes to the next...
So thankful I have a reason to post on this thread. got my confirmation today as well.
My timestamp is kind of interesting. Got the reservation confirmation email 9:30pm on July 13th, but my reservation email says July 14.
From what I know, my dealership had 150 units allocated.
So, I may be incorrect. But it appears if you get in on the "early" early orders, you get an email. Ford will send these out every week on Thursdays. Then, the rest of us will get our confirmation and builds in May sometime. Surely that means late Fall delivery at best. That's my guess.
Anyone in CO get in on the "first cycle" builds?
I have a July 14th reservation, but appears priority builds and First Editions probably got ahead of me.
Yup. Also found out you can't get the Sound Deadening Liner on the Badlands with the Lux Package - or something. Couldn't figure out why. The Badlands also ONLY comes in Black vinyl or leather.
So, definitely going to Wild Track with Black Onyx interior, Lux pkg, basically everything.
