My Outerbanks has 34s on the stock wheels. The tires alone are like 80lbs a piece and with the wheel it’s 100lbs. Add in air, it’s quite heavy! With that being said, I already have a hard time rotating myself so you definitely wont see me swapping them out roadside if needed.
I’m not naive...
I had to aim them out of the box.
I recently installed a level kit and I loathe having to drop them an inch. I love the lights but the design Oracle has to access the screw needs to be re-engineered 10/10
I love how they updated their kit to hide all wires if you aren’t running a pod light. So clean lol. I actually just placed an order last week and also ordered a pod light for the included bracket.
Seeing that my stock OBX setup would likely never sell.. LOL.. The tire setup I'm looking to change to is approximately 32.7" in diameter.
If I changed out the tire on my stock OBX to lets say.. 285/65 on an 18 vs 285/70 on an 17 are 32.6" vs 32.7" as per the tire size calculator on...
I'm looking to finally purchase a set of wheels. I've always wanted to do a spare-tire delete but at the same time I see the value in a spare.
My question is: Are there alt-size spares I can purchase that I could store in my garage and bring along for the odd trail run or long trips?
I can't...
Not sure what time mine was picked up, I'm assuming same time... But my package left Oracle on the 31st and arrived at a bud's place in Detroit 7:20PM last Friday (Feb 3rd).. the entire time it was estimated to reach by Friday 7PM, so it was 20 minutes late. But it still made it!
Dude all I can say is that I am super stoked to install my headlights. To save on shipping I sent them to a friend in Detroit so I got to wait for him to bring them back to Canada. But I am super excited after seeing yours!
Ugh lol, I ordered these before finding out Oracle is doing an amber option.
And I've already ordered the amber option for their headlight replacement which, if on track @ORACLE Lighting / @OracleLights is shipping today or Monday or Tuesday! So I'm a bit chezd they might not match / look funny...
I’m a bit of a ding-dong so I don’t really have a pic on the other side (looking to where it is aimed at) other than in an area that is very well lit.. will try to take a better pic tonight or tomorro
This is in a lit parking lot, WITH my headlights on.
Same parking lot, NO headlights just...
I might give this a try when the weather gets better.
I haven't had the lights installed without spacers (installed them right away) but I was kind of disappointed with the output and had a feeling it has to do with them being aimed too low. Also, instead of using 1x 1/4" spacer I used 6...
I'll just come out and say it: those look goofy. But to each their own.
Size wise, I think Diode Dynamics' 5" SS5 are the largest I'd go. But personally something like the size of Baja Designs' Squadron Pros are most preferred because if I wanted to then I could run two on each size and then...
My goodness gracious, I LOVE IT.
But ugh, after doing the hiring for my ditch lights and the fog lights I run.. I really couldn't be bothered to run those wires in addition to doing all the labor to attach the lights to the vehicle. BUT DAMN
I haven't done the install myself so I couldn't really guide you. There are some people on here that do have it though. But here's a link of the wiring harness for the headlights? to give you an idea of which wires to tap onto...
