I would seriously consider a sport if they came in a 2 door with a bit shorter wheelbase. I'd need to see what their durability looked like and it would need a lot of aftermarket support for power, diffs, etc though.

Yeah, It's crazy how heavy it seems to be but I think that's correct. The difference in curb weight between a base 2dr and 4dr wrangler Sport is 3970 vs 4,167 = 197lbs so not far off that.

They must have really messed it up then because the weights with the 2.7 seem to indicate the 4 door is only 2-300lbs heavier...which incidentally is about the same difference as a 2 vs 4 door wrangler. I think the chart is correct

I'm not a big fan of the wheelarches being at different heights. There's what looks like about an inch more gap between the beltline and the top of the rear arch than the front. Makes it look lopsided.
