Update: It was 3 weeks to get it replaced. The new top came in without the headliner so I had to go back to the dealership so they could “evaluate” the missing headliner even though they still had the old top. Ummm. It looks the same as that one but with less cracks and less headliner.

I got it in November. I haven’t removed the top and live in NC with a relatively mild climate. This was just defective from the factory

Yeah, the dealer did it pretty quickly. I can’t imagine that this is something the owner could do on their own.

The bad part is the service department couldn’t find the memo. I had to reference Bronco6G so they could figure out how to fix it. Make sure you have “tsb 21-2251” ready when they start fumbling around.

Finally got it fixed. It was a 20 minute software update.

My 17yo daughter won’t touch it. Maybe she’ll change her mind when it gets it’s first scratch. But I did ask if she wanted to drive it.

Awesome! I was thinking about doing the same thing but was thinking I’d have to put something together from scratch. Those cameras make it much easier. It’ll be nice to put a face to the forehead smudges on my windows

Sorry if I missed it but did you add shock sensors and code up some arduino magic or was it built in to the cameras you were using?

Imagine how bad it would suck to squeeze into the back seat if the doors were the same size as a 4 door. It’s already pretty bad.

Ouch, I blew a motor in my Kia while I was waiting. After the panic subsided, I decided to see if there were any recalls and fortunately, there were. New motor for free! But yeah, I was almost in the same boat. Hope it works out for you.
