Update: It was 3 weeks to get it replaced. The new top came in without the headliner so I had to go back to the dealership so they could “evaluate” the missing headliner even though they still had the old top. Ummm. It looks the same as that one but with less cracks and less headliner.
My hardtop is developing a long crack down the edge closest to the driver side door. It started small but has grown and started to separate. I took it to the dealership and they took a bunch of pictures but I haven’t heard anything back in over 2 weeks. They claim that nobody else has had this...
I actually just photoshopped a stock image on there. Please don’t put your keyless entry keypad there. But if you are removing one, goo gone should do the trick.

The bad part is the service department couldn’t find the memo. I had to reference Bronco6G so they could figure out how to fix it. Make sure you have “tsb 21-2251” ready when they start fumbling around.
Awesome! I was thinking about doing the same thing but was thinking I’d have to put something together from scratch. Those cameras make it much easier. It’ll be nice to put a face to the forehead smudges on my windows
Ouch, I blew a motor in my Kia while I was waiting. After the panic subsided, I decided to see if there were any recalls and fortunately, there were. New motor for free! But yeah, I was almost in the same boat. Hope it works out for you.
